Hi Now 2021 Agust, The dashboard looks like some sort of soft material, leatherette, !!, Can you please confirm, also now no spare wheel, what a pity? Regards welshman 2081
Test drove one of these the other day, the Black AWD version. Very impressed. I really gave it some wellie with my right foot and returned 43mpg. On dual carriageways I didn’t notice any wind noise to worry about. For a big car it was very nimble. I had been worried about the CVT and the reported noise under acceleration….again no problem, just come off the gas for a moment and it drops off and the noise goes. Couple of bongs and chimes which was annoying, but that’s more a case of me not knowing what they did and I’m sure can be over ridden. It looks chunky and felt well put together. Definitely on my short list.
@@BrownCarGuy I’m intentionally steering clear of the usual German offerings as I find them just bland and dull, so I’m also taking a look at the Volvo XC40 and a Jaguar e Pace. I understand the ride isn’t so good on the Jag, well compared to what you would normally expect on one?
@@pedrorenard8439 haven’t driven the Volvo. Jag E- Pace is set up sportier, so firmer ride, but not uncomfortable I think. Go for smaller wheels for better ride though.
Thank you great review. I’m ordering the new black edition Jan 21 also 6,2’ just wondering how much room up front ? Does your knees hit strg wheel. Brilliant looking car. Thank you again.
Glad you enjoyed it! At 6ft2 with long legs I had no issues. But I'd always strongly recommend you take it for test drive before buying, because everyone's body and seating position is different.
Hey if you want better clips from your phone I’d suggest investing in a smartphone gimbal, the OSMO Mobile 2 or 3 should suit you perfectly! Either way it’s a great video
Good review. How did u find wind noise on motorway?
Not so bad that I noticed

Best to check with your local dealer on the actual specs

@@BrownCarGuy Thanks for the advice and I’ll bear that in mind. I have watched your review of the e Pace too which is really useful as well thanks.👍
I pick up my Black Edition in a week's time - can't wait!

@BrownCarGuy Thanks for the review. I want to know which trim this is?
Thanks for your comment. It's Rav 4 Design 2.5 Hybrid 2WD
How were wind and road noises at highway speeds or rough roads ?
Slight wind noise from mirrors, nothing major.

Thanks! Need more supporters on Patreon so I can invest in more equipment!
Good review, but cut out the too fast hand held CameraPhone video clips - looks unprofessional.
Thanks
