Thomas Taylor is the greatest English translator of Greek works. His translations of the corpuses of Plato and Aristotle are heroic and levels above anything done since.
Agreed, the only thing standing in the way of understanding him for most people is his English archaicisms which are easily surmountable if you read enough 19th c. literature.
Dude was all about classical Greek. I read on his Wikipedia that he and his wife would only speak to each other in one of the old Greek dialects. It was just a short Wikipedia article, but I’ll bet they were happy.
Taylor articulates, for me, this "undiscovered country" with equally unexpected clarity so many things; such as, use of the long-familiar phrase, "the Good," an obvious yet, till now for me, frustratingly unenlightened term. Yeah! Thank you for producing these very helpful -- and rare -- insights.
Have you ever read "The Language of Creation" by Mattheiu Pageau. His book and his brother Jonathan resonates with the way the author in your video writes. Memory and the stars are very closely related. And memory goes back to the dawn of creation as far as I am concerned. We just havent tuned into it.

Keep up the excellent work, Dan 👍
