He's about to turn 30, and it's safe to say he's not gonna age like Lebron of KD. His best shot at this point? Get another superstar scorer in their prime so Joel can be the second option. Sounds crazy and stupid but it might help him stay somewhat healthier. And the Sixers already know between his injuries and choking they can't rely on him in the playoffs and need another superstar who can deliver during crunchtime.
I see this as the last chance Embiid is willing to give Philly. If they go out sad once again and don’t acquire another star with the 80 mil they have in cap space then Embiid will request a trade by the end of free agency.
If Embiid can come back this season and play at a superstar level in the playoffs and not be the reason his team loses then it was an overall successful season for him. Because this team he has around him is not at all built for a championship as it currently stands. No depth at all.
Gotta be honest ... not upset at his injury. If he had flopped his way to another MVP shooting 2,000 FT I would have been disgusted. Hes the new age James Harden you either love him or hate him bc of his style of play.
Comparing him to The Dream is mental Hakeem was 10x the player Embid will ever be a better team mate a better defender healthier more successful Embid has had maybe 1.5 years that actually meant something the rest of the time he's flopping or on the side line
It's purely a play style and NBA potential comp. Embiid is the closest we've gotten to another big man like him. Unlike Kobe and Jordan Embiid hasn't been able to get as close mostly due to health.
This is d suck and very very nasty. HAKEEM is better defensively, more mobile, and always available, but embiid is a better shooter and scorer. HAKEEM is better but to say he's by far better shows you lack bball knowledge.
@donaldf9055 so if i have a different opinion i lack ball knowledge what a ridiculously narrow minded take Havent even mentioned that dream has 2 rings with a team that was basically role players Embid has had all stars play with him and hasnt even made a final
@@simoneddy1174 you're not even talking basketball. If you want to say who's better as a player you bring up actual basketball facts and not accolades. What's even worse is that I agree that HAKEEM is better, but to say that they shouldn't even be compared and that HAKEEM is far better is d suck
I like wonder how the 76ers would be if they drafted Tatum over Fultz. Tatum and Embiid is a solid title team, imagine if they still had that big 3 Tatum Simmons(who improved) and Embiid
Holy shit man… my fandoms all align to absolutely despise any sports team based in Philadelphia but damn Simmons refusing to dunk and Embiid reaction just hurts to watch. The purest definition of cringe
i wish i could appreciate embiid but ever since he threw unneccessary shade at jokic then the following day he doesn't show up against Denver, he will always be 2nd behind jokic in my eyes. Can't stand the foul baiting, flopping, and constant ducking in Denver (m.i.a since 2019). but i do respect his game when he's actually healthy

What was the background song at 9:50
He's about to turn 30, and it's safe to say he's not gonna age like Lebron of KD. His best shot at this point? Get another superstar scorer in their prime so Joel can be the second option. Sounds crazy and stupid but it might help him stay somewhat healthier. And the Sixers already know between his injuries and choking they can't rely on him in the playoffs and need another superstar who can deliver during crunchtime.
keep it up man
I see this as the last chance Embiid is willing to give Philly. If they go out sad once again and don’t acquire another star with the 80 mil they have in cap space then Embiid will request a trade by the end of free agency.
that was funny, Ben Simmon's biggest moment of his career is passing an open dunk😅
If Embiid can come back this season and play at a superstar level in the playoffs and not be the reason his team loses then it was an overall successful season for him. Because this team he has around him is not at all built for a championship as it currently stands. No depth at all.
Na, that was CRAZY Dom
Embiid world glass player 🔥🔥🔥
Title should've been : ( The Joel Embiid Story : Successfully Unsuccessful )
Pause on that ad read frfr
people alwayssay they chose ben, but they went and gave a bag to al horford.... they chose al...
Great ad intro lol

Song name? From 16:39
I still can't believe how angry james harden got for not getting a contract in philly. If he wanted a contract he should've played better.
Gotta be honest ... not upset at his injury. If he had flopped his way to another MVP shooting 2,000 FT I would have been disgusted. Hes the new age James Harden you either love him or hate him bc of his style of play.
I’m glad he got it last year since injuries screwed him out of the one he deserved this year
That was a nasty transition to the sponsor
U my favourite basketball commentator fr
We have seen the last of Embiid, the modern day Bill Walton without the charisma and the winning.
i have 2 words for anyone who thinks that a 1 seed enough of an award to teams and players who dominate the regular season, Manchester City
The revisionist history on Ben Simmons is INSANE
Elite ad 😂
My profile pic describes how i heard this intro😂
PAUSE on that transition 😂
@donaldf9055 so if i have a different opinion i lack ball knowledge what a ridiculously narrow minded take
Havent even mentioned that dream has 2 rings with a team that was basically role players
Embid has had all stars play with him and hasnt even made a final
@@simoneddy1174 you said that HAKEEM is far better than Joel embiid and that is a lie.
Imagine if the 97 Rockets or the 2004 Lakers had won.
Joel "Street Clothes" Embiid for MV-Pity 😂😂😂
Got my vote in perpetuity
Joel was hoopin😢😢
W sponsorship
THE BUCKS COULDA HAD
EMBIID AND GIANNIS
THEN THE SIXERS COULDA HAD
TATUM AND EMBIID
OMG 1 DRAFT PERSON APART THATS PRIDE TALKIN 😂😂
Best player in the world, hope he’s healthy for the playoffs and we can go again next season
20:02 man is made from porcelain
how can you be most valuable when you aren't even playing..?
His constant falling to the floor was bound to hurt someone again. It was just his knee this time😢
Lol kuminga literally tried to dive through Embiid's leg.
@@KootenaiKingno he didn't watch that clip again
His constant falling is the reason Danny Green's career likely ended a tad early.
@@astray4525 danny green is 36 tho his career has been on the downhill bc he's gotten older
@@Book.of.Treason yea but he was still a decently good vet shooter before Embiid fell into him trying to get a call and tore Green's ACL.
Dom2k> LOW
0 Finals, not even an ECF.
Holy shit man… my fandoms all align to absolutely despise any sports team based in Philadelphia but damn Simmons refusing to dunk and Embiid reaction just hurts to watch. The purest definition of cringe
Pretty brutal
Nah that was a W ad lol
Boi 😭 ball handler
i wish i could appreciate embiid but ever since he threw unneccessary shade at jokic then the following day he doesn't show up against Denver, he will always be 2nd behind jokic in my eyes. Can't stand the foul baiting, flopping, and constant ducking in Denver (m.i.a since 2019). but i do respect his game when he's actually healthy
Mr. Can't-Do-It-Himself after choking hard in the playoffs.
Master ball handler 😂😂😂
