'You SILLY man!' Furious driver confronts Just Stop Oil for blocking road in Mile End

- A fuming driver got out of his car to confront the 'stupid' Just Stop Oil eco-zealots for disrupting traffic in the capital today. The motorist approached the group while they were marching in the middle of Mile End Road, east London.
He got out of his vehicle, walked over to a protester - who retreated as the driver got closer - and launched a furious rant: 'You have a problem with the Government, do you not? So why are you blocking the road?' Just Stop Oil has been carrying out slow marches through the streets of London for months now in a bid to get the Government to halt all new oil, gas and coal projects in the UK.

This guy makes a valid point. Their methods are not working and only to serve to irritate potential supporters.
Just come across these idiots on Brent X flyover. Told one he was a hypocritical. Vest and van oil. I applauded at one being carried 8nto a van. They came over with a phone. I told them they have the right message. Wrong methods. She said what about the suffragettes. We have no choice. Yes they do. They can take different approach.

The public vote in their politicians. This isn’t just a Westminster issue. They are in the road all the time outside parliament. In fact lots were arrested just last week outside parliament.

I love oil. It comes out of the ground, so it's organic, and has thousands of different uses. I love oil.

I do believe they just aimlessly try to make an impact in the worst possible way, I blame the media that fed these people with lies and turned them into road zombies, it's okay to stand for something, but you gotta be smarter than these people to recongnize and be able to tell what is really the issue and how to deal with it in a way that does not affect other people.

Interesting fact: The JSO movement's primary funding is from the Climate Emergency Fund organization with Aileen Getty as the dominant donor.
Aileen Getty's main investments lie in a company called WasteFuel which is a renewable energy company. The whole JSO is therefore not borne from an urge to save the environment as much as it is to knock out the competition in order for Aileen Getty's company to profit.

Because decades of petitions, of letters, of quietly asking politicians and the public to care about the climate emergency have done little to get us to a point of actual change. The UK produces 1% of the co2 that is 0.4% of the Earth's atmosphere so that's 0.004% and of that 0.1% comes from breathing , that makes 0.000004% of the Earth's total co2 ! Please correct me if my maths is wrong but surely that is such an infinitesimal amount as to be totally insignificant ! PLUS with all the trees , flowers , plants and crops that we grow that amount would NOT even provide only about 0.001% of the co2 to sustain the said trees etc ! Somebody's having a larf methinks !
