The funny thing is, I just purchased a ferret nation (almost identical, just different bar spacing) and I had been sent an extra/replacement because mine also came a little scratched up and was going to send it back... I’m going to go ahead and keep it... I know my little Luna will thank me later.

Just set my alarm, I’m so excited!!! I remember all those months ago when you started taking about a bigger cage!!!
Your cage is awesome, wish I had the room to do something that large. I have a DCN and I also did the same on the bottom and didn't use the grated bottom. Instead I got a poly tarp and cut it to size on my bottom and platform to go right over the plastic, it wipes up really easy everyday with just an unscented baby wipe. And then once in a while I just remove it and clean it deeper in the bathtub. The plastic bottom would wipe down just fine I'm sure, but I find the tarp really wipes easily without scrubbing since it is smoother then the surface of the plastic bottoms. This has worked out great for me and I have had no smell. I have the same air purifier as you, I got that link from another one of your videos. I am sure most people are not as crazy about wanting to wipe the bottom of the cage everyday, but I find it very simple and easy and then I feel like they aren't walking on any soiled surface. Just takes me a few minutes every morning when I am removing their food dish. Your videos are very helpful for me and my three girl joeys Rumor, Rhyme, and Reason. Thanks for all you do to help us new owners, its fantastic to have this source.

WOW, I love your new cage!! It is humongous and I can just imagine the fur babies having a blast with so much room. I am curious about the treadmill/spin-around on the bottom of the cage. I've always been afraid the glider would fly off or be thrown off of it while spinning. Of course, you wouldn't have it in your cage if that were the case, but do have any words of advise about it?
They really do love it! The glider go round has tons of traction because of the fleece cover. They love it. The link for where you buy them is in the description box 😊

I have one and my glider would get thrown off a lot. A fleece cover is a good idea!

I’m not using pellets at the moment, I just have the black trays in the bottom that they come with. Once I get in a good rhythm I will do a new cage cleaning video

If I get just one Double Critter Nation cage would you still recommend using the shelfs? I’m getting two gliders in April and I’m trying to choose what cage to get. I like the doors and the horizontal bars on the DCN but I like that the Congo cage is taller and has a tray on the bottom that I can pull out to clean easily. I can only afford to get one cage right now but would eventually like to add on and have a space similar what you have in this video.
If you want to add to the cage in the future I would for sure recommend the DCN.

Hey, just curious where you find your flowers. Is there a specific brand that you feel confident about. All of the flowers that I have looked at did not seem safe to me. I want some pretty flowers so bad! Thanks in advance.
Yes I got mine from Walmart but not all flowers from there are safe. You really just have to pull on the leaves. If you don’t have chewers it’s not as big of a deal if they fret a tiny bit but if they pull apart easily that is a no go.
@@sugargliderdiaries Thank you for the info. I think I am being a little over the top about it. But, better safe than sorry. I actually don't know if they are chewers. I most likely will not have my gliders until the end of this month or beginning of next. I am waiting for all their supplies to come before we finish the adoption process.

It helps their skin from getting dry and “cracked fur” especially in the winter when it is dry out. I use is a couple times a week in the winter 😌

i recently adopted a pair of gliders and wanted your opinion on if corks could be safe i have a couple corks but if they are not safe i will not keep them in the cage but i can not find anything saying they aren’t

This video is 5 months ago, how is the tray way working out verses the grate way?
I love it the way I have it with the trays inside. I vacuum once or twice a week and take the trays out once a week to clean with blue dawn dish soap. I have two air purifiers in the room snd the cage is not stinky

A double critter nation on Amazon is a good cage. Links are in the description box.
You can drop on a good second hand cage sometimes . If you go on preloved. Make sure it's safe though for gliders.
