The colours of the Boomwhackers can be paired with each Madrigal:
C Red - Dolores (her headband)
D Orange - Camilo (his ruana)
E Yellow - Pepa (her dress)
F Lime - Mirabel (her glasses, in animation tests the animators also used a lime green block to stand in for her)
G Green - Bruno (his ruana)
A Blue - Luisa (her dress)
B Purple - Isabela (her old dress)
C Red - Antonio (his scarf)
The only Madrigals missing are Abuela Alma (who would be magenta if possible), Julieta (teal), Agustin (dark blue) and Felix (yellow). (plus Pedro who is technically a Madrigal, could be represented with white)

Thank you for making these! I teach regular ed and deaf/hard of hearing students. I am teaching music "visually", more than orally. Please keep making them! So great for all ages.

Thank you! I had not considered the visual benefit and I'm grateful you brought that to my attention!

Love your videos to use in the classroom. Any chance you're considering some songs from the bad guys movie? My kids are living that this fall.

Just curious, what have people been doing for the extended bars at 2:03?

I have the students tap as fast as they can. With enough boomwhackers, it actually sounds like sustain.

@@SwicksClassroom I tried that and it sounded like....Chaos!

@@LoveMonkeyStudios I agree it did until I found a way to turn it into a learning opportunity about how fast doesn't ever mean loud. When we separate the idea that fast is chaos and so is loud therefore they go together...you get to teach them about dynamics while also reaching the desired result. They are two separate directions.
First, I ask them to show me what playing fast and playing slow looks like. Obviously when they play fast they get super loud instinctively so I then move onto the next step. I have them practice playing fast and quiet (running like a little mouse is a good analogy for younger groups) and then practice playing loud and slow (stomping like an elephant, again for younger groups).Just an idea!
