Cal Newport is one the most down-to-Earth authors who writes about becoming more productive, deepening your expertise through what he calls "deep work" and how to really enjoy your life, both professional and personal.
Newport shares with best tactics and mindsets on how to totally crush it at work and improve your skills in his best-selling book "So Good They Can't Ignore You - Why Skills Trump Passion In The Quest For Work Your Love". With the help of this video summary, in just a few minutes, you'll be able to understand his tactics and most importantly, how to implement them in your professional life. Not to mention, the video is completely FREE, while you'll have to spend a few bucks to get your own copy of the So Good They Can't Ignore You book ;)

The best course of action is the following - watch this So Good They Can't Ignore You summary and learn about the best tactics of becoming a master of your craft. Apply them in your work (and at home). If you are happy with the results (as you most likely will be), head over to Amazon or to your favorite bookstore and get yourself a copy of the actual book. This way you dig deeper into these teachings only once you have proven they can work for you.
This So Good They Can't Ignore You summary gives you, not only what the book is about, but how to actually apply it. Because, let's be honest, you can read the book, or listen to the So Good They Can't Ignore You audiobook... BUT unless you start applying what you've learned, nothing will change in your personal and professional life (isn't that always the case?!)
Watch this animated summary, take action, apply the tactics to your life and you'll see dramatic results. I had the intention initially to do a So Good They Can't Ignore You summary PDF, but honestly, an animated video review is so much more fun to create, and to consume :)
Understanding Newport's methods and putting them them to work has never been easier - it only takes 10 minutes.

SO GOOD THE ATS CAN’T FILTER U OUT
Nice review, thanks!
nice review sir
It's weird, if you aren't passionate about the thing you're doing, then how can you improve your skill.
Discipline. Hard grind learning. As the presenter said you do need to get out of your confort zone to learn those new skills.
@@anonymusunknown9199 You can be disciplined with what your passionate about. Most of the greats are.
I think they only say “don’t follow your passion” as a reality check of how hard you have to work to follow your dreams/passion.
It’s in the book.
For people who have a passiom, tjis is depressing
It looks like there is a missing part after you say “and now let’s see how you can apply this to your career”
Yeah, I was planning go do an outro / implementation but tech issues killed my idea so had to publish without it :( I will make it into a separate video eventually
