    He asked for compassion & mercy, he got it he will have three meals a day, unlimited access to water and a restroom, a mattress on a bunk, ability to recieve healthcare & recreation none of which his poor brother was given. I believe his only notable reaction was hearing the length of the sentence which further proves he only cares about himself.

      You are so right. He got compassion and mercy. He just didn't get what he wanted. He wanted more than compassion and Mercy. He wanted everyone to just ignore what he did, and he would get out of jail, with no prison, then go find someone to mooch off of. His act on the stand never fooled me, I thought he deserved a long sentence from the start. I don't know as I even believe he actually was abused growing up. Of course he'd say he was. Everyone just said he was a bully, and bullied Timothy forever. He's a bully, a parasite, a liar, and not just a liar, but an actor also.

      Yes, it was all a show. His attorney no doubt coached him to the extent even possible so that he'd be perceived as a victim of sorts rather than the monster he is. Absolutely no better than his mother. There's so many things he could have done, or not done, opportunities to tell someone out of concern for his brother. None of that was done. In fact there were punishments Paul did on his own because he clearly couldn't stand his brother. Those monsters treated the dogs far better than they did Timothy.

    I will miss seeing you at Crimecon this year. If anyone is on the fence of going, go and make sure to say hi to Danelle. It's always a little scary to meet someone you admire and she is the most genuine soul I have ever met. She is exactly the person you see on camera, which is not always the case. Thank you for all of your great content, I still miss Crime After Crime though

    Poor Timothy. Nobody cared about him. His father didn't care about him or he wouldn't have given him back to a known abuser who had custody taken away from her BECAUSE of that abuse, and his mom didn't care about him because she actually did the abuse, and his brother Paul didn't care about Timothy either. On just about every level Timothy was failed by all of the adults in his life and everyone who should have had his best interests at heart and should have loved him the most.

    This case is absolutely heartbreaking. I just wanted to give my personal opinion from personal experience with a homicidal sibling and mother. His brother did it happily. I’m assuming his brother still lived with his mom because he was the mother’s favorite. My sister started her abuse of me when I was 4 and she was 5, she’d jump on top of me and strangle me until I passed out and slam my head into the corner of the walls. She did this because I “woke up” that morning. 100000000000% that brother is just as sadistic as his mother. He, like my sister, got very little of the attention and abuse from their mom. I can tell you having a sadistic mother who directed my sister to hurt me that my sister did it for money, computers, games, etc. This case is so angering because he is just as bad BUT LIKEY WORSE, than his mother. When I look at my past, I can say that sibling and my own took things 100xs worse than what the mother directed. He’s a sickening monster. I hope all the bad things on that mother and brother. My heart goes out to that poor boy. I felt his pain, I know that terror. Rest in Peace Timothy, may you know the peace you should have had in life.

    Paul, it seemed to me, read through that statement performatively though also robotically. Nowhere in it does he really show pain at what he did to Timothy, whose name he didn't mention. Just something about him still being gone.

    He was very much a willing participant. He wasn't scared of his mother. He enjoyed having complete power over someone else. He enjoyed the abuse. If he had any empathy or compassion in him he couldn't have done the things that he did. Him asking for compassion and mercy from the judge made me sick. I wonder how many times Timothy begged him to show him some compassion and mercy. I wonder how many times he cried out to his brother in pain or to beg him for some food. Something other than bread with the hottest hot sauce there is. I hope he never gets paroled and him and his mother rot in prison for the rest of their pathetic lives!!!

    PAUL ADMITTED TO SNEAK TIMOTHY FOOD ! SO HE DID KNOW HE WAS STARVING. Also the part where he should put sauce on Timothy's privates.. " he thought it went too far" - HE HAD A COMPASS FOR WHAT PART OF *TORTURE* WAS OK AND WHAT WAS NOT.

    • @KittyCat260
      @KittyCat260 6 месяцев назад +4

      He claimed to know what was OK and what wasn't... but he still did the things he thought were "too far". I don't know if we can even believe that he ever snuck Timothy extra food, I think that's just a little detail he made up because he thought it would help him look less culpable.

    I am an autistic and ADHD abuse survivor, and the vast majority of my abuse was because of my disabilities. While autism and ADHD is hyper visible on the Internet lately, the stigma against us is still something I experience the effects of every day. If you have an autistic or ADHD child in your life, or an adult who needs support, please stand up for them and ask them how they are doing. A lot of the time, we don’t realize abuse isn’t normal, or we’re afraid to speak about it. Timothy was placed in this situation due to his disability, and I’m sure that, based on what Paul and Shonda said about Timothy and his behavior, his abuse was directly related.
    I absolutely agree with the judge. I don’t think a personality disorder means that you’re a bad person, but if you’re already a bad person it can exacerbate it, like in this case.

    These children deserve people to know their stories. They deserve people to cry and and love them. I sometimes wonder why I listen and read about these horrific child abuse cases, but that’s why. I will catch myself thinking about random children, I don’t even know, that have passed because of horrendous abuse and I hope they are somewhere that they can feel my love for them. That’s why I listen.

      No lie: my father was thinner when he entered adulthood. A fast metabolism, being active and fastly growing can result in this. In jail calls he's constantly asking for money to buy more food, while he isn't active anymore and growing less.
