I mainly used the standard canon kit ens 15-85mm and the 50mm f1.8 (Some of my newer videos use L lens glass if you want to compare!)

I used sony vegas 11, however now I work using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 :) both are very good packages for editing :)

@wilmo1231 so basically filmfights is a sight. they set rules for a "fight" and you make a video fitting the rules and then the public votes. Its great. You get ideas and motivation for making videos and real life constructive criticism!
