Kari, I always watch your videos while I am doing my makeup. I love how descriptive you are with products and I also love that you are very straightforward. 💛

I was so happy when I found your channel a couple weeks back! I have binched beauty channels on RUclips for years, and you are the first one with the same skintype, undertone and preferences as me👯! Glowy foundations have been all the rage lately, but those are just not for me. This video was super interesting!
Also you are the first one to say out loud, that CT blush in pillow talk is a beautifull formula but it pulls a little grey. Yes it does!
Thank you for doing this for us ❤❤!

The Lancôme Care and Glow is my favorite foundation outside of the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin!

Just found your channel and subscribed through your declutter videos that I’ve been binge watching. Enjoy your descriptions and thoughts and you can tell you really are “aware” of your makeup products and you give helpful and informative feedback.
Too bad the Haus Labs foundation didn’t work for you. I’m on my second, almost third bottle but I understand that foundation is similar to skincare in that it’s very individual to skin types and skin needs/expectations. One product won’t be “one size fits all” even if the masses love it.
So good to hear all your thoughts. I hope your channel explodes because it’s clear you are an enthusiastic who takes their content seriously. 🩵

Hi Megan, just passing by ,i always enjoy your declutter videos!❤ I would recommend you Nars Soft Matte for longevity, looks stunning on the skin but don't go over board with it( i prefer applying it with fingers strangely 😅), at first looks a little powdery but after 30 minutes , AMAZING!!!!. After i gave birth my skin took a 180 degree turn and i am also combo now, i was actually extremely dry. I still love my Estee Lauder DW, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, Clinique Even Better and L'Oréal infallible! These are my ride or die! I also love Nars Light Reflecting, the Soft Matte and the Fenty Eaze Drops ! ❤❤❤

I followed your foundation journey, thank you for your videos. What is your shade on Prada foundation? I can’t remember if you mentioned in other videos. ❤

U luv ur foundation series, very thourough. I think I want to try the Smashbox Always On foundation based on your commentary. I am on a 'no buy' this year so I'll wait and see if it's still exists in 2025. I enjoy a good declutter, it's satisfying to know we can use up our favs.

I've seen that Maybelline Instant Age Rewind recently, but the concealer used to be SO BAD on me so I stayed away. It's amazing how differently various products work on different skin. And I can't imagine wearing any makeup to the beach or pool, so that's interesting... Love L'Oreal True Match, I agree but I can't use Revlon - unless they decide to go cruelty free that is a hard NO. ELF Satin Foundation is excellent, and I like it mixed with the ELF Halo Glow. I had to get rid of the Catrice True Skin because it was drying and had a white cast. I gave it to my neighbor and she loved it. Who knows???

I have to see if Make Beauty has my shade, I think I will love it in the warmer months when I go light in foundation.
You are not the first person to mention that the Haus Labs sat on their skin.
I have heard such good things about Moira, I will try it!
I have to try the Givenchy foundation! But oh man, I don’t like fragrance in makeup!
I don’t think I have heard that Revlon Color Stay foundation! I have to see if they have my shade-August in NYC can be a swampy hellscape and I am curious to see how it works.
Oh!! The Prada is my next purchase in June after my no buy! Like at midnight😅
Omg that Guerlain Natural Glow foundation bottle is so pretty! I would be tempted to keep it just for the bottle.😅
I was not shade matched well at Sephora for the NARS Light Reflecting foundation so I got rid of it. I keep hearing great things about how it looks so I think I have to give it another try.
I have only tried CT eyeshadow but I think this is the year I try her other makeup.
Omg! This comment it getting waaay to long😅
I saved this video because I will be referring to it in June. We don’t have the same skin type but your foundation range is great and your explanation of why something doesn’t work for you will most likely work for me.
One last thing-sorry. As you can see you have a lot of people who really enjoy your thorough reviews. Would you think about doing vides near the end of the year separating your favorite drug store and high end makeup? Thank you

Yes, ma'am. You read my mind. I did a simple version last year, but this year, I started a LIST! I make notes every month of favs and fails and break up by drugstore and high-end. My vids this year will be full of no bull feedback!

Do you think the Natasha denona mini dream palette is worth it? I wish the shimmers were more opaque.

    • @KariMeghan
      @KariMeghan  10 месяцев назад +1

It's VERY neutral. None of the deeper colorful tones from the larger palette. If you love a neutral, smaller, every day palette for quick, easy, no hassle looks, then yes, it's a fine palette to have.

Haus lab is so drying on my face even when I moisturize my skin I don't know why it's such a fan favorite. Maybe it's just me😢

    • @KariMeghan

That foundation has an unheard of amount of ingredients in it, imo. Revolutionary, maybe. But, it could be one of those ingredients that interacts with your skin as such to dry it out. It's not just you. There's like 14 different oils in that foundation, my oily skin says, nope!
