How come? I'm not a religious person, but grew up going to church every week and Sunday school and whatnot... Wasn't Jesus known for hanging out with the "rough crowd"? If anything, if they are truly trying to spread the Christian message to people who would be classified as "needing to be saved" or whatever, wouldn't a bunch of "non-Christians" be the ideal audience? At the end of the day, Christian or religious or not, I think most people at an event like this are basically good people. We're all there to have a fun time, and people feel a sense of brotherhood (or sisterhood?) with fellow rock/metal fans. I wouldn't think this would make them feel weird at all!
They’ve said multiple times they don’t feel struck down by non religious bands and it doesn’t bother them. They’re there for the music not to preach a message. The message is in the music. You take the message however you want. I’ve seen them 3 times and they only time they talked about Christians was at a Christian concert (the first concert I was allowed to go to)
