I haven't even finished season 2, I need to. I feel like from what I've seen, season 1 has more of a story and development, and I'll probably like that season the most no matter what! I choose opening one :)

I love how the first opening has the eyes turn into fushis and the in the second one the eyes turn into the unamed kids eyes, great touch. Other things are similar like showing the generational family at the same time
When the music for the op is so good they gotta bring it back. I’m so glad they did it. I wanna hear it for season 3 too

The fact this all started with a rock
In the first season, the 1st through the 5th episode had me in tears. I've never cried so much just starting a new anime. Btdubs, there's just something about the first opening that screams authenticity and effort. I love it. 🖤
on first episode i cryed a lake on the rest i cryed a ocean.....

2nd opening better at highlighting characters. 1st one is just spoilers lol.
2nd also has some spoilers like Fushi with the roots, but they're less and only manga readers understand them
Nah, 1st op is a jewel, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. You won't get spoiled if you haven't heard about the show before, in fact, some things shown in the op are fake or the opposite of what really happens lol
@@idkdc2615 the OP literally shows Gugu's death, March's death, Tonari's friends death, etc... It shows way to much. I love the 1st OP but it's not worthit watching it until you finished the season
@@naokurobanerw5281 you didn't get my point, you think it shows that because you already know what happens, but the op is safe for new viewers, it doesn't "show" anything
@@idkdc2615 the Tonari's friends part is way to obvius that it's them once you meet them. So still, even if it's a really good opening it's not recommended to whatch it before you end the season

2nd's visuals are terrible honestly, they're not even animated well... I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way. I loved how coherent and polished everything is in the first one! The expressions are amazing. 0:44
The first opening is my favorite. Pissed they took it down. They always take the good stuff down.

It happens when the production committee decides to switch animation studios in a rush. Season 1 was animated by Brain's Base, an established studio. The 2nd season was animated by "Drive" a relatively unknown animation studio.
The difference in experience shows up in the final product.

this anime really got me in tears in the first season and I loved to first OP animation. It had so many representations of every character that Fushi met on his long journey in season 1 but man they really know how to make you attached and then break your heart into shambles🥲
Took me months to realize this series was created by the same mf who made A Silent Voice, no wonder
