A Singaporean, Making a comeback from a 20+ years retirement and thank goodness, getting motivated and catching up with new stuff in cycling through Mel and the rest of you guys in Malaysia….hope to be fit soonest after my correctional surgeries and get onto a new bike…once again thank you Mel, since we are connected now and see u soon last week of November
family commitment and work stress..... weekends become more and more precious to us..... just did a 30KM ride and noticed that this was the longest ride i ever did in 2024.... sad state compared to previous 100km averages. turning this to a positive - i did 30KM this year and will do more ~!! #janjikayuh
Yea bro janji kayuh..... 2 years ago every weekend I do 100 to 120km and up to 240km....now a days... Cuz I need to be driver for my kids... Visa until 1230pm...hahaha can inky do around 90km max max
Still trying to do weekly rides on Sunday. And the occasional weekday nights on trainer or Taman ride if work allows it. But quite a pity that many in my group has stopped for months. Due to various reasons incl work, family etc.
don't know about others but I am trying my best not to quit....I am an old guy and cant do your epic 100km rides....I do love those 30 - 40 km santai rides..😜😜
@@ebospeed3339 I have been using tubeless for 6 years, no issue. The chances u get punctured on tube vs tubeless is like 20 to 1. Moreover, the ride quality is much better than using normal tube (not sure about tpu type). And the ability to run lower pressure makes a lot of difference on ride comfort. Tubeless is the way to go.
I always prefer my dji vs gopro since 2019 😂.... I used gopro for 2 years now but glad I am back to DJI... For the work flow and overall quality... But between gopro and dji I would say the image quality is very close to each other so I wouldn't care much about it... Work flow how it downloads the phone is more Important for me since I do this on a weekly basis.
Yea... For me sticking to tubeless... LOL cuz tube I puncture 6 times a year... Tubeless puncture one time a year or even less LOL. And most of the time tubeless does puncture... Can patch.. Rarely cannot... So far 4 years using tubeless... 2 times puncture cannot patch. 😅

Tubes are good for lazy people; you can leave it on the wall and it won’t gunk up due to lack of riding. Tubeless however are for folks who actually ride your bikes since it seals punctures; the caveat is that you need to ride it often.

Yea to be honest... Janji kayuh.... I also dun have much time to do 100km now a days... I just chill 80km plus rides... So I can reach home early
YES. Look at all the bike on carosell and marketplace.
Yea... Actually this is the best time to pick up cycling cuz expensive bikes are half the price now 😅
Video colors look better on the DJI. However video stability looks better on the GoPro. My opinion. The DJI does not seem to smooth out motion.
Yea... This weekend I will try with horizon lock see if it's any better.
my group stop cycling now left 2 of us…..2 weeks didn’t cycle …, going to cycle this weekend
Cun..... Yea sad man....when I see back my old videos so meriah....now so little left
Tube is still the way to go..😅
Hahahaha I am still very tubeless 😂😂😂😂
@@melvintanchannel lol..after spending $$ n effort for sealant..n see the mess it created, went back to tube..🤭

It’s illegal to watch thia video at night. Makes me hungry and go to check what’s inside my refrigerator 😂
Hahaha that is super random hahahaha

Zwifting more now. Been busy with work
Well as long as still on it... Virtually even 😂
Some car vlog and review guys say it is better to use DJI than GoPro. They say better visuals and battery. What do you think?

How do you think about the new action 5 Melvin?
Absolutely love it... Only one thing... Dun like the light white balance sensor at the O so near to the mic.... Hard to attach wind blocker....
Tubeless is not convincing for road bikes. better to stick to tubes.

Why so many titles with the word Quit haiyaaaaaa just keep cycling la
Hahaha just an observation.... 😂
Quit Quiting
wow its bad to drink coffee on empty stomach. the caffeine will be absorbed rapidly and will be used up rapidly as well then there will be a crash.
Don't drink coffee on ride day... Dehydration..
Oh thanks for the tip..... I drink alot of water anyway... And so far it's been working for me... But thanks for the top tip.
