I like this watch and thought it cost more. Thanks again for another great review. Your production and style without all the noise is appreciated.

Coincidentally I put on my 2008 Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry watch this morning. Bought 2nd hand for a song it's a very nice 38mm, ETA 2836 powered model. Titanium is showing up in relatively well made inexpensive models. Boldr has good examples.

Def one of the best field/ tool watches. It is also built like a tank but light at the same time.

I've had an I.N.O.X. Carbon for years, probably the most durable watch I own.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and have never liked the strap - for me it is a little uncomfortable. However, I replaced it with a grey/black Nato which goes perfectly with the titanium case. I would prefer the case to be a little smaller but the Nato strap does make it wear a little smaller on the wrist. I agree the red circle of numbers is almost illegible to my eye but I am not too bothered by that. Overall, I think it is a durable and solid watch for the money I paid.

Not to argue with you Teddy - thank you for the review btw - but, Citizen have MANY Titanium in the 200 - 800 dollar range. Quite a few in the "Tough" series as well.
I kind of wish they made this watch just a TAD bit smaller though. I like the subdued finish and the overall style. Just that I can't really wear larger than 50mm lug-to-lug.

The red 24 hour printing on the crystal might have worked with a white dial, but that does not seem to be available.

Teddy, how did you find out this is grade 2 titanium and not 5

Great review Teddy. I like lots of the INOX range, particularly those in the professional diver range with paracord straps. However, that is one ugly watch, and printing the 24hr times under the sapphire? What were they thinking?
It's strange that some of the INOX range have 22mm lug widths (reference 241845 as an example) whereas that reviewed by you has 21mm.

Seems like your taste in watches are questionable if you find this ‘“ugly”. I loved the look of it.

Not sure I’m seeing the value here. There are a lot of options for Ti watches well under $1000, I would start looking by at Asian micros like RZE, Boldr, and Phoibos.

I checked it out at the Victorinox factory store, they had it for $308, at that price I was tempted.

They should have skipped the printed 24 hour markings under the crystal. That just doesn’t work here.

They always do that its their thing

@@MrBacchus18 I have never seen a victorinox with red markings on the glass before this. It is not their thing and I think it is a mistake we won't see them make again. It interferes with the view of the minute hand.

@@CK-jd7wo-test My bad, I thought the red 24 hour markings were on the dial. It is very weird to have it under the crystal. I don't like it.

I am baffled by the red 24 hour markings.

I believe the red marking is a throwback to early military/aviation watches from the WWII era. So it’s an historical nostalgia thing…

instead of EVERYONE trying to make this watch appear smaller in their videos and reviews why dont victorinox just make the damn watch smaller and lighter ????????????????????????

I'd buy this in a second if it weren't for those horrible looking 24hr markings

Honestly, first word that comes to mind "ugly." Hard pass, here.
