Nice video! What about evapotransipration modeling? Beside rainfall data I also have temperature data, how can I simulate the effect of temperature on the basin?

Currently I do not have any video to demonstrate long term simulation in HEC-HMS. You can watch SWAT videos that involve using temperature data.

Hello, please I don't know where I can find the control specification data, for the rainfall data I have present the maximum for each year. Is there any way to skip this step or any method to know what to add?

Hello, when I use HECHSM to run daily weather data using SCS method, I encounter problem "WARNING 15303: Aborted run "run1"" What should I do?

Go to parameters , discretization , and choose structured. This will solve the problem

Hello. I am getting "Could not connect precipitation gage "" to data in the time-series manageé error all the time when I try to run the simulation. I could not find the source of the problem. Can you help me?

Most likely you missed a step somewhere. Go back and make sure you follow all steps correctly.

Hello please how to input time in control specifications? I have precipitation data in mm/day. For example I have rainfall data from 01 july 2019 to 31 july 2019 in mm per day . Every data is recorded at 9:00 am . How to input start time and end time with date from given time? Also there are zero rainfall in some days in between and 1 july too. Please please please do reply. I have very little time remaining for completing my thesis.

SCS method is not really meant for using daily data. If that is all you have, you can pick a time interval of 1 day when you create your rainfall gauge. your start time is 9:00 am on july 1, and end time will be 9 am on july 31. zero values are okay.

@@hydrologyvideos8253 In time series gauge I have put time interval of 1 day, but while running simulation run if I put 1 day in time interval with start day and end day same as in time series gauge with both start time and end time 9:00, and run the simulation, it shows error like : Invalid time window, and hence run is aborted. What to do please?

can I simulate one rainfall gauge with four different river discharge data? In my study area there are four rivers, If I want to consider all of them, will the calibration be possible? Thanks for your very nice learning process.

Also, if I'm considering one rainfall event, while the discharge for it is being computed, before the end of that discharge if another rainfall occurs, what should I do? Should I consider both events then?

I didn't get the part why we are keeping the time interval for discharge- 10 minutes. The discharge data seems to be hourly.
