Hi, I got a Chinese pvs-14 screen can these accom tubes? I hear the housings are the hardest and this one at least well these look right to fit. what would be the best course of action if any? All help welcome
A PVS-14 uses a 11769 style tube which has a pigtail for manual gain. We can absolutely match Elbit tubes, however, we can not use a 11769 Elbit tube in an autogain housing like the DTNVS or RNVG. L3 only produces one tube design with a very advanced power supply. Then per orders, L3 simply adds or removes the pigtails based on contract requirement to follow a 11769 or 10160 format. This allows the pigtail to be removed from a L3 tube that was used in a PVS-14 and put it in a RNVG or DTNVS. It is because of this design why L3 tubes are great for versatility.
Where can I get a awesome print like that in the background?
if u change your post fx you can make it like a t-7

When are the KAC bridges ever going to be instock again?
We wish we knew, there is no eta on any KVC items.
Why can this only be done with an L3 tube and not an Elbit? Surely you can match elbit tubes and transfer the same parts right?

@@LicentiaArmsCo Thanks for the thorough info 👍
Sell your PVS-14 and buy a PVS-31 :)
Also a great option!
Another sad elbit tube owner here. cant justify the hassle of trying to sell the elbit for an L3H tube right now. stupid soldered pigtails.
can you use elbit tubes in BNVDs? thats one thing i hadnt thought of
You can remove pigtail and make it work
if you dont want to remove the pigtails you can go with the AGM-40.. way cheaper but its an inferior housing
@@RickeyP Yeah, just have to solder in a resistor.
