My grandfather was in C Co. 1st Bn, 331st Infantry. Also seen in this video, although poor quality and grainy, there are at least two M4A3E2 Sherman "Jumbo" tanks, probably from the 736th Tank Battalion, which served with the 83rd from February '45 to the end of the war.
Great grandfather was in the 83rd infantry div 331st battalion in 3rd platoon. George Boldin. If anybody knows someone who served with or knows of him I would love to hear it

My uncle was in the 331st.
