O, I remember this pretty nice 2006 WD episode (S4 E7/8)! 👍Edd did a great job when replaced rear drop links and front suspension control arms, middle and rear exhaust sections, Canada-spec alloy wheels with factory BBS and beige cloth interior swapped with cream leather interior from donor vehicle.
These were the glory days days of Wheeler Dealers ... always seemed what they did was in reach of me as a DIY enthusiast, car junkie. I started losing interest when they were based in the US and gave it away completely when Edd left ... 🤔
Agree. It was better when it was almost ordinary cars on a tight budget. Most episodes were close to what a diy person could achieve with a bit of effort.
I've had leather and I've had cloth on my seats. I prefer the cloth. Especially where I live it can go from O°F to 90°F so it keeps from freezing or burning me. Leather is definitely less to maintain. Just a good leather conditioner before and after the winter and you're good.
I feel envy against Rob. Not because he sounds like a bad guy, and I'm not a strong BMW geek, but this is one of the sexiest coupe cars I've ever seen. And red exterior only adds an extra load of charm to it. These days, if still running, it may be worth over £40,000.
My ex fiance back in like 2009 used to be like "OH. Watching new wheeler dealers, are we?" all the time lol. Back when Cable TV was a thing. Fast forward, 15 years, and she's back to talking to me about how I'm doing. We've fiddled under the hood a bit as of a few years ago since she sparked the conversation. We're still talking at this point. POINT being: I just sent her a screen shot of this and commented "Wheela dealasz again mate". Can't wait to hear her input lmao
Edd. Do you ever see these past episodes and think , “what the heck did I do that for.” This was a very nice car and you just ruined it. It’s amazing how opinions change over time.
I sure do miss ol’ Ed. I learned a lot from him over the years, especially in the early days of Wheeler Dealers.

❤Thank you very much publisher.
Was such a great show!
Edd China WAS Wheeler Dealers... Watching and listening to him was the whole point!
That car was always one of my favorites from the show. Red paint and a biscuit interior.
What an amazing deal at 3,700. Would buy that in an instant.
That seems like such a low price. I assume it wouldn't be so cheap anymore.
Yah agreed Ed was the glory days of wheeler dealer shame he left the show...
