Loved the early episodes as it was just two mates working together to turn the cars around ... Edd looked like your mate working out of his garage at the side of the house or one of those small workshops under a railway arch
Note: the missing sunroof fuse that Edd discovered is behind by the massive brake servo, but is obscured by the camera angle in fuse space D (bottom right, 7:04), but sometimes fuse space C and D will be both blanked out as the sunroof and the auxiliary items were optional. In this case, both options were installed for this car, hence why fuse space C had a fuse for the auxiliary items. We miss your amazing work. Hope things are going well.
W123 my favourite of all merc. Spacious..comfortable...and as with old merc...less pain to maintain cos it is non digital. Could not find a decent one at the moment...have to make do with my present ride...190e (2.0)
Wow. Back when you could still get cool cars for small amounts cash. Here in the States the Cash for Clunkers basically removed a large amount of reasonable priced cars.
Had a petrol estate..refurbished..spent lot of time&money..about to be revalued for insurance by Merc. Club... Great motor..until written off by a stolen car..got original value..
This is not the correct way to adjust an MB steering gear box! W123 steering gears aren't very durable and don't compare with W116 or W126 boxes. The power piston bores actually wear!
Love these old episodes that were well before Edd got too big for his britches. Who would have thought a humble mechanic could become such a diva and ruin everything he was given by the biz and his fans.
@@robbflynn4325 Well, Mike is still there, and the show is still doing great without Edd, so what does that tell you? Edd blew it, and doesn't deserve any sympathy. He should be a lesson to everyone that if you achieve a high level of success with a mediocre skill set (how many mechanics are there in this world anyway), don't piss it away. Edd made that stupid video explaining why he left, and that didn't age well because what he said they weren't going to be doing anymore, they kept doing. He'll never say it, but you know he knows he's a fool for what he did.
@@JetFire9 TBH couldn't care one way or another, just thought it was funny you saying Edd got too big for his britches. Edd said he didn't like the direction the show was going so left, what's the big deal, have you never left a job because you didn't like it., and there are ALWAYS two sides to a story. Edd now has a weekly RUclips show with the old WD mechanic Paul, he couldn't have been that unpopular then could he? I'm now living in Pennsylvania so even I have moved on, lol. If you like real problem solving check out the Pine Hollow Diagnostics channel, it's located right near me, and the owner Ivan, like Edd is a genius. I actually commented on the fact he reminded me of Edd China, thought he'd come back and say, Who?, instead replied, thanks, Edd China is a legend!
@@robbflynn4325 Sure, we all move on from jobs. He didn't just "move on." Edd left in a huff without another bigger and better job waiting for him and then posted a revenge video. You may not see it that way, but those are the facts. He cited his disagreement with the direction of the show, but it really never changed so that was a lie and attempt to smear the Wheeler Dealers brand. He had definitely become a diva, and he was easily replaced. I know you say you don't care, but obviously you started the contradiction instead of moving right past my comment, so don't be dishonest like Edd. You do care.
As usual he has no idea what he is talking about. The adjusted screw Is factory set if you adjusted it in a straight line yes the slack will go but it will be tight on turns . As usual all wrong
We've all grown older with you, Edd,thanks for all the great viewing over the years mate, cheers.
The good old times... I love the old show so much... Really cool, great work, great time ❤️🇩🇪👍 Edd we miss you
Go check Edd RUclips Channel. New material every week.

The boys look so young in this one!!! Adore you guys.

Love to see Super mechanic Edd China gets his hands greasy under neath these lovely cars 🥰🥰👍👍
Edd and Mike when they were kids. Mike 14, Edd 12. They rode their bicycles to the shoot that day.
Hey, Mike! Bring Edd back!
300 quid for that car...worth a lot more now....!!
I liked very much this kind, first season of ,,Wheeler Dealer"! I miss it! Something simple...! I miss Edd, also...!
It's good to be 6'14" as you can reach anything under the bonnet. 😂
I love this program. It was a disappointment not to have subtitles in Portuguese.
W123 and W124 Best Car ♥️♥️♥️
W124 300d owner

@@aaronhutt274 I feel old now. I remember the original airing.
What year was that 😳
Change the cam belt? Well that is difficult because a Mercedes W123 does not have one.
Cam belt ........hahahahahahahahahahahaha that would be the first 123 Mercedes with a cam belt
Hey Mike where's Edd?
Mike is rude.
How dirty Ed gets compared to Ant
Will Ed ever fit a car?
Hey edd I want to be like you. You have a midas touch
Thats a 100 pounds ago for Mike
I find it hard to believe he had an old torpedo fuse laying around, unless he's a bug enthusiast.
Is this available to buy? how?

Eye lyke jerman karz 👍

Still virgin teenager😄😄😄😄😄

I think Mike is the one who got too big for his britches, have you seen the state of him these days, lol? Edd is the man, Mike is just annoying.
