    Hello! Great video, do you by any chance have any information on whether it can be used in candle making? Thank you 🙏

    Oh remember smelling it once... It doesn't go for days and days and days... I guess it is also used to create BR inspiration... Not sure but it was about years ago

      yes, it is used in BR540 for sure. EM has an extremely unmistakable identity.

    Its not aluminum, it looks like steel. Aluminum 'rust' is white not brown.

      Thanks for sharing the info, I personally did not know that, the container is Al itself.. over time I realised it was the EM itself that was changing colour, the red stuff was the particles from the residue left and etOH evaporating away..

    Do you sell a pure ethyl maltol fragrance? I’m not a perfumer myself, but very interested in purchasing in a perfume that is pure ethyl maltol and very strong for personal use in layering with other perfumes in my collection. There is one on the market now, but it’s very weak and I’m hoping for something stronger. I’m almost ready to give up and try making one myself, that’s how desperate I am 😂

      We do, and currently we ship only within India. So if you are in India, we will be able to send across this pure ethyl Maltol fragrance. :)

      Thank You So Much.. :) and also, the container is holding a mix ethyl maltol + perfumers alcohol.. maybe the alcohol could have caused the issue..

    I tried to make a 20% solution of ethyl maltol in alcohol, but the ethyl maltol has fallen out of solution and crystalized. When I applied heat, it temporarily fixed the crystallization problem, but as soon as it cooled, the ethyl maltol crystallized again. If you have any ideas, please help!

    • @yunisazizli7737
      @yunisazizli7737 2 года назад +1

      i thnik,20% is too much.Try 10% or less.

    • @aromaartisans
      @aromaartisans  2 года назад

      i had tried 20% as well, with same results as yours.. just using EM by itself, 15% was a good place to be where i did not get any crystallisation.. secondly.. do note, if you plan to use EM more than 15% in the final fragrance concentrate, it will be possible, keeping in mind that with other materials used, and the total EtOH in the final blend, EM will be less than 15% total, but u will probably have to dose it directly as a powder/crystals.. and let it mix in the final blend.. hope i did not confuse you further..

      @@aromaartisans One more question: do you dilute the EM in alcohol or using something else? Thanks again!

    • @aromaartisans
      @aromaartisans  2 года назад +1

      As of now, I stick to Ethyl Alcohol.. it is a universal solvent for the few materials I use.. and still haven’t started working with materials that wouldn’t easily dilute in EtOH.. although I have to figure out sourcing some good DPG along with other materials in my wishlist..

    • @aromaartisans
      @aromaartisans  2 года назад +1

      Birch tar to my nose is very similar to the smell of the wood that is left after a bonfire is extinguished.. and EM to my nose it no where near that.. :)
