Im really enjoying following you along on your trip, especially the museums, but I wonder how many people are like me and go "wait... go back, ..you missed a bit", or " hey I didnt get to read that sign" lol, youd never get out of there if you could hear us all 🤣🤣🤣
Enjoying the ride Russ! Been in Springfield many times, had no idea the auto museum was there! Don’t forget to stop in Galena KS at the Gearhead Curio. Interesting stop on ole Route 66!
i love the weather ,rainy day ,when car tire makes sound when it cuts thru the stranded water .i love when rain drops hit the road and jumps back in air for a moment 'it create crown in the air ,thats why i like this video because weather is so lovely .❤
Russ, I have completely fallen in love with the states you took us through on this Route 66 ride. Ohio, Illinois, Missouri! I LOVED the small towns of Missouri! Now I have the travel bug and have hubby checking our RV Rentals!
That was interesting watching you visit Springfield . First 2 I never been too. Also I seen what down town looks like now. Never go and people couldn't years back. Court House looks better than I remembered at your next town. Go there for fall colors. Nice smaller place to see lot of stuff!
I used to live in Springfield Mo. Some of the route looked familiar. I worked at the Bass Pro distribution center as janitor. I started at the offices but got moved to the warehouse. I liked that better but the building was huge!!! Lots of walking. It is located across from the Greyhound bus line closer to the interstate.
Another great ride-along on Route 66! I drove this stretch last year and saw some of the same things. The owner of the Car Museum gave me a free keychain, very nice guy.
There was a very very rare Kaiser Darrin in that car museum. I think they only made 400 of them. The sports car doors slide backwards into the body. It was light yellow. I saw a few of them as a kid in Chicago but they were not a common sight even when new. I think seeing that car as a kid started my life long love of all cars. It's visible at 15:39 behind the gas pump, it's yellow green. There is a much better view at 18:55 with the description.
My maternal grandparents came from a small town in northern Missouri called Trenton. I guess it was damp and humid there as well. My grandfather had asthma, and his doctor suggested he move to a drier climate, so they moved to Phoenix. This would have been in the mid 1920s, so who knows. You may be going down some of the same roads he and my grandmother may have traveled.
I lived in southern Georgia for 7 years and, strangely, I got used to the humidity. However, I don't think I could have lived there without A/C in the house.

We are thinking about a move from Kansas City to Springfield!

May sound strange, but I'm always kinda impressed how clean and renovated these smaller towns and cities look.
It does have its areas but, for being the 3rd largest city in Mo. it's not bad.
THANKS!

The Batmobile and that 1970 Camaro were my favorites.❤
Yep, that 1970 split bumper Z-28 would bring a very hefty price at auction.
Thanks Russ, EPIC court house!

Thanks for the tour of the car museum. That was awesome!
Love your vídeos! What is the name of the music you play when you are just cruising down the highway?
Kudos to your RUclips Channel, Russ! The car museum is great. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I wish you safe travels, Russ. Talk soon, Alan.
Cool! You should check out Gilmore museum in Michigan if you go to that state
Not been there yet. I live in Battlefield now. Live in Springfield most of my life.
Did you stop along I44 and get some fudge from the Uranus fudge factory? The name always makes me laugh
Moving right along…. Thanks
You forgot to stop and see Wagon Wheel motel on 66 coming in to Cuba. One of last standing motel. Next time. We found on drive thru 66 to St Louis.
Raindrops 🌧️ keep fallin’ on my head…🎶🎵

Enjoy the rain. It's still summer in the desert southwest. The Heat Is On.
45:20 The historical courthouse in Carthage, Missouri is indeed gorgeous! Thank you, Russ.
Toy department 👀 🏁
Corvette 🎉 & Hot Wheels.
Great auto museum.
Thanks Russ😃✌🏜
I painted the storefront of the old building at 27:15 and several other renovated lofts in that area.
Again, “Wow!”
Almost home❤
BEAUTIFUL COURTHOUSE..THANKS RUSS
The best buildings in old small towns are the court houses. Even real small towns. Back when we respected the courts.
I've lived in Ohio for over 30 years and never grew used to the humidity.
I lived in southern Georgia for 7 years and, strangely, I got used to the humidity. However, I don't think I could have lived there without A/C in the house.
Hey, Hey, Check It Out, RVerTV ,Heading down old Route 66 thru Springfield ,Missouri, Yea ,👍 Thanks, Russ
I live in Springfield, would have loved to buy lunch
Hey loved it, also love Twilight Train great song had to check that out too 😀
If I was rich, I’d drive a Batmobile 😎
Dear RVTVI love your ❤show, please never change your style. Be safe outhere. I pray for you always. God bless you.
Must of been about 3 weeks or so ago if there was some thunderstorms.
WE LOVE RVERTV - BEST TV ON RUclips. Thank you Russ.
Next time when in Carthage, Ill, can we go to Precious Moment Garden
You never get used to the humid heat. It's awful.
Its weather you can wear
12:19. Where is the flux capacitor?
You never get use to the humidity you must just learn how to live and suffer through it
The people of Springfield Missouri don't eat cats
LET IT ROLL DOWN THE HIGHWAY 🛣 🎶
No homeless or tents in that city. Wonder why
The homeless in the small town Midwest are looked after. Much better system when compared to large US cities
The areas they are at are pretty well hidden from site. Springfield does try to provide help for them if they want it.
I've lived in Mo. For 5 years. I know some old timers. They even say it's to Humid .
