Hey I know this was a while ago and this might be a weird question but do you remember your general cost of living in Long Beach? I really want to apply but my parents want me to calculate the costs before I apply. My college at home would cover the tuition but what about rent, food, transportation and other little things? Can you give me a general idea? :)

Hi Victoria! Some Americans lived in International House too and there are plenty of opportunities to meet locals on campus. The dorms shared the same dining halls x

Alice White Hi Alice! Firstly, that’s so exciting that you’re going on exchange- you will have the time of your life! Sorority recruitment is held during the Fall semester; however, depending on the year/numbers/chapter some sororities hold a smaller recruitment process or informal recruitment in Spring. Some sororities also don’t allow exchange students. There will be a panhellenic body at your school to help so reach out to them :) good luck!
Hi Tahina, each sorority varies on the cost. But it was 100 per cent worth it and I would have otherwise spent that money on other activities/food anyway.
