- On today's Campus Tour, we went to Cal State Long Beach. We walk around the campus and try our best to describe and compare what the campus look like. Hopefully this guided non-guided campus tour / campus walk helps you decide what campus you want to go to or reminisce your time on this campus!

Fun fact: if you dont actually attend CSULB you wont know that the escalators are always broken down so its a miracle when its working for a few hours
I just got accepted for a year abroad at CSULB fall 2022! So excited
I’m a 2nd year and I love the environment! Can’t wait to be back this summer and next school year

How is the UCI? Are there Partys and the city/beach nearby?

FYI: The Pyramid is the schools arena where basketball and volleyball is played. It also has a nice gym inside. The Pyramid opened (Nov. 1994) the year before I graduated from Long Beach State. I still remember Coach Set Greenburg was the men's basketball coach. Great Campus. It has changed a lot since then. I remember the cool concerts that were held in the middle of the hill before it was built on. GO BEACH C/O 95

I'm planning to attend USCLB for some techniques and career-startings, and this tour is very helpful. ❤️ That escalator reminds me of the escalator at Universal Studios Hollywood, but what's different is that the escalator directions.. especially the glass.

I’m currently attending and I have only stepped on campus a few times but I cannot wait until it reopens hopefully fully by spring of next year (cuz I think it won’t be fully open by fall 2021 as per the email we all received about reopening). I’m so anxious 😑

@@jenniferyepez1947 some classes will be in person. I have a lab on campus for the fall term. It all depends up to you if you want to do in person or online while signing up for classes.

Hi CSULB offers STEM MIS. What does this STEM means? Is it like normal MIS course or something else?
Idk what MIS means but STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

Typically Long Beach State accepts students who have over a 3.2 GPA in high school and a 1200+ SAT score
If you take the community college route, you can get your general Ed done for next to nothing cost wise. You can then get your AAT and have guaranteed admission to any cal state.
which campus do u think is better CSULA or CSULB?
csulb, csula feels so outdated and out of place haha

I’m debating between cal state la, cal state lb or cal state San Bernardino
Long Beach has fallen to the politically correct crowd. They even changed the mascot to pander to pander to the loudest winers. This alienated a large portion of the Alumni. I'd pick another university (I'm an Alum)
Hope you figure it out :) just don't put too much pressure on yourself, remember you can always transfer if you don't like it
