Angela is smart to retire when she is still on top of the game. Yes, she has all the good reasons to retire. Everyone will need to retire one day. No athlete stays as champion forever. In the end, you have to be very realistic. We are only human. There is a time for everything. Once you have a family, your life is no longer just about you anymore. You have someone else to consider for all your decisions. We have to give respect and humility to Time. Retire when it’s time to retire. Don’t be like Putin or Kim or Xi. They never want to retire, even if it means killing a billion people just to stay in power. LKY retired when he knows he had to pass the torch to the younger leaders before it’s too late because he cared about the future of the nation more than his ego or power. We all have to be realistic, at the end of the day, only Mother Nature can stay eternal. No human being can stay forever. When it’s time to go, go. No need to cling on to things you can’t cling on. Don’t kill yourself and others. Learn to let go. There are more to life than just glories, fame and what not. Those kind of things are superficial, they don't last forever and they never will. To want to stay and cling on to things only hurt yourself and others. Listen to your heart. Be humble to Time. What’s more important are inner peace and realization.
