    I wish more ppl knew goju ryu karate, its one of the most underrated styles.
    It is full contact, takedowns, grapling, and groundwork

    Our Aikido sparring is called randori where multiple people try to gang up on you and you try your best to survive using techniques you practiced. It doesn't really help with performing the techniques, it mostly just teaches you that you gotta keep one guy between you and all the other guys if you don't want to get beat the fuck up.

    I took Aikido for a couple months to just get some basic movements down, and my instructor was actually really good. We DID do some sparring (not very structured, but it was fun and really helped with a bit of application that most Aikido instructors ignore).
    Also swords. The swords were awesome.

      Yes swords are amazing. Infact I love using bladed weapons the most cuz they can deliver a quick lethal blow and end a fight quickly. And while I do love batons I just don't like them as much as I like blades

    the funniest thing to watch in taekwondo is the younger students sparring (like 7-10) because all they do is punches, pushes, and roundhouse kicks to the bottom third of the chestpiece

      😂no offense but why do I never see wrist locks used in mma or streetfights? I swear doing boxing or wrestling or any proven and utilized combat sport is WAY better than these intricate scenario based martial arts, aikido, krav maga, japanese jiu jitsu DO NOT WORK when you’re fighting combat trained fighters, all a big HOAX
