Bill German started "Beggars Banquet" a fanzine on the Stones in 1978, a few years later it becomes the Stones' official fan club newsletter for fans worldwide and the next thing you know he's having orange juice at Mick Jagger's house, hanging with Keith at parties and eating bananas at Ronnie Wood's house....and somehow lived to tell about it.
His adventures can be found in the must-have book under their thumb: Under Their Thumb: How a Nice Boy from Brooklyn Got Mixed Up with the Rolling Stones (and Lived to Tell About It). Required reading for Stones fans. Fun to chat with Bill on this one--enjoy!
