I agree. I can't justify spending 4k for a scooter. Also the g2 is selling at a even more competitive price. The weight is also good so I can see my self buying the gt2. I like that it is more capable tho and can be used on multiple terrain.
@@arkhamkillzone the only justifiable 4K purchase for a scooter is an Apollo Pro 2023 or newer. Quality control unlike any other, low maintenance drum brakes, top notch IP 66 rating and unique 12-inch tores.
Dude have you tried out the E-Brake/Regen braking on the GT2? I heard from users they received a firmware update where enables E-brakes on the GT2 and also the firmware update increased the horn beep sound.
You forgot to mention something very important in the video about which one has better customer support and also parts just in case. Segway max G2 is better in that regard as well.
I got both of these as well. Love the GT2 but the G2 is so weak. I just got a dual motor one to replace it. Really want to send it back but probably won’t or can’t.
Body weight makes a huge difference because I'm 6 feet tall and a 140 pounds and I have the max G2 and I take it off road in dirt on hills bigger than the one it bottomed out on this video
I plan on that as well. This comparison is to paint a better picture of what really is the difference between an expensive scooter and a normal priced scooter
damn the retail price in the US is so damn high :X they go for $3000 where I live (they cost just as much since they were released) and I`ve seen them go as low as $1800 online.

Except Tuesday Ferrari is much heavier, can't be ridden in town legally and it outrageously expensive. Seems g2 is a better choice for someone wanting to use it regularly.
I think the Max G2 will one of the best release if not the best this year. The overall package/price ratio is at the sweet spot.
5 months later...a measly 3.2 out of 5 stars on Segway website...yeah yeah no thanks to that!
Getting the hugely underrated F2 Pro instead.

This aged like milk no offense...
You don’t have to pack the GT2, just meet them there
Agree on price. And the G2 Max is discounted on the Segway site until early July.

Not yet, I gotta try it as soon as I get a chance. I’m also going to do a long term review of this so for sure I’ll play with it some more before than

It’s the same company. How is support better for the cheaper one? That makes no sense.
Max G2 fits in a car trunk. End of the discussion!
Lol, yeah very handy
It's actually a great comparison to highlight how valuable my Max G2 is. Thank you =)
You have any problems with climbs?
@@Hferraz86I'm not heavy (61kg) and climbs (even hard and long climbs) aren't a problem for me, I'm in love with my max g2
1300?
More like 800 for the G2.
The retail is 1300, you can get it for 800 now
@@landpet It would no way go for 1300 in USA, you can already get it for 799€ in EU.
@@muSPKwow it is 1399 at the Segway store in toronto, people are buying it.
@@devonleblanc9152 What a rip off
@@muSPKwow I got 2 of them delivered in two days in the UK for £1438. They easily do about 20 miles distance and climb almost any hill

Compared to the GT2, it’s def weak

It most certainly does, I weigh a lot more than you and am shorter 0_0
A better comparison would be similarly priced scooters compared to the two Segways.
I plan on that as well. This comparison is to paint a better picture of what really is the difference between an expensive scooter and a normal priced scooter
Agree with the price difference.
Do you think it is worth paying 1800 pains for that g2 max here all things are worth double
I'm not using to paying double, so in my mind, this is not worth double the price
That's like comparing a Tesla to a Corolla. Nevertheless, fun to watch!
had to do it, people ask questions, this makes it clear

They were on sale at one point but the retail has been 4K

talk french ...please
Not a language I know unfortunately, would be nice to learn one day among a few others.
