Incredibly great videos, mate! I'm happy I've discovered you. It would be very good for the car-enthusiasts community if you could team up with Engineering Explained as you don't compete, but complement each other so well. Yet they have much more subscribers. Keep up the good work!
I found that the whole vision part - looking ahead into the next phase of the corner - was/is the hardest thing to do habitually. But, luckily, it's something you can practice on the road wherever you're going.
I am left speechless. Everything is easily understandable, but when I sit down on the kart, I just cant concentrate well and apply anything you have said. I always wondered how it is with karts, what are the differences in a kart racing. I would love to see and hear from you on subject kart racing/differences between kart and car racing. I personally visit 9HP indoor kart track, started the very first time last year in October. First time and I was 0.6 behind track record(first it was on 6.5 HP, than on 9's), I keep it like that still to this point. In the past I have watched hundreds hours of onboard racing here on youtube. P.S.: Apologies to my English. I really wish you all the best to your life and career. Take care, I am so glad I have found you, you are absolute original.
go karts are a little bit different than cars. they dont have differentials, instead they try to lift the inside rear wheel while turning with front steering input, hence very heavy steering. go kart racers have some movements in initial turn in that you wouldn't necessarily do with cars... otherwise most other principals are pretty much the same.
Excellent. Before I got my racing pedals and started heel toeing, per your tutorial, I became proud of my late braking by picking up foot and slamming my excellent brakes, going deep. However, 1 track day into heel toe, it requires much more finesse and I lost some deep braking due to the added concentration to the new process but seemed like smoother transfer and (cheating with new Hoosiers, lol) took 3 seconds off my previous track day there. Thanks for the great work!

Quality video. Those materials are really helping me whether it's karting, simracing or just daily driving. I think I understand better what is happening with car.
Almost every concept of this channel could be apply on karts as well. Perhaps a channel who is focused on karts is what you are searching. Sorry don't know any of those i would like to see one too.
How do you know which speed to be at while entering the corner? On simulators, I tried looking at the speed counter, but this distracts me from the track. With Assetto Corsa I put the speed counter in the middle of the screen, but it still distracts me from the ideal line. All I can do is to focus on the gears, but this is not accurate enough.

That's a great idea - we need to talk! Thanks for the support.

Watching this to improve myself for my racing games.

very nice thank you! Glad The SimPit mentioned your videos.
Thank you Drive61
Nice of you to assume my car can kick me in the back of the head Scott 😂 nice lesson, thanks 👍
Another great video
@Driver61 can you make a series dedicated to karting? Me and other ppl would really appreciate it!

I love these older videos where I am learning skills and not being sold a wallet
thx for the vid, could you do a tutorial on how to corner a RR 911?
lol :D I thought he was doing it all the time on his channel : )
How to practice driving?
FYI this is diametrically opposed to both m. schumacher's and senna's style
