Finally someone else that understands you can’t get a clean chop of bushes or small trees without first starting at the top and chopping down. Thanks for showing other people the best way. The same way I have always done it

Tim did a pretty good job with that mower attachment on the skid steer, considering it was his first time using it. Was pretty interesting to see a new thing, I've always wondered how clearing like this worked. Cheers.

Not sure we give Tim all the credit he's due. If you watch his work in the background shots, he seems very skilled. I would think Chris would be a good instructor and hold Tim to high standards. I'm a fan. Would like to see Tim's work featured more. He is obviously an asset to the company and capable of doing 1st class work or Chris and John would send him down the road.

Glad I'm not standing where the camera is. Those sticks and stumps would hurt. When I grew up, my neighbor on the ranch next to us used a farm tractor with double tires to drag a bush hog over huesatch, and mesquite to allow his native grass to grow for his cattle. The skid steer with the mower would have been great for that kind of cutting.

That brush cutter on the Yanma is going to come in mighty handy when the corona-zombies start attacking. I don't care how good zombies are at coming back from the dead. When a zombie gets mulched, that's game over, no question about it. You'd need to make sure the screen washer bottle was topped up though. Mulching zombies is going to be messy.

Did 120 acres of sage (2-3" base and heavy growth) and averaged just over 1/2 acre/hr. On an upper grass pasture (~22 acres thin) could cover in about 7 hrs.
Above on a Branson 4020 with a Land Pride 2772 cutter
Have moved and have a lower pasture where I had to cut grass over 6' and averaged about 1ac/hr
Kubota with a deer 5' cutter from rental yard.
Same 6.5 area (6-8") on a zero turn in about 2.5 hours.
      Spartan 60" 26HP zero turn
It helps to have a full suspension seat (branson/spartan) b/c a standard seat will beat you up (Kubota).
Full suspension takes the brunt of irregularities in ground and can make you last longer
