Megatron has survived worse like in prime where the space bridge blew up when he was in it or when he was stabbed by bumblebee he will be back without megs transformers is terrible
well, they did rebuilt him using "spare parts", but they needed a special energy source to bring him back. Too much power of the All Spark was what killed him and using a small jolt of the All Spark Fragment is what brought him back. I know the Matrix of Leadership won't work, he's not a Prime. worst case scenerio and hardly doubt it will happened, he could come back as a Ghost like Starscream in the G1 series (after G1 film) and Beast Wars (possessed Waspinator)
found this whole part with megatron to be anticlimactic. I know it would be expensive to have this whole film with just cgi transformers but i swear these films would have been so much better if the humans were just not in them

He had to kill him otherwise he would again turn evil-- well he still is evil but Prime had no choice, plus he had his mentor with him all along.
