He's absolutely on point here and you can hear very few vocal mistakes. Singing live is obviously not going to be a carbon copy of a studio song. Some artists can manage it but even then there are flaws. You're talking about the rawness of the human voice, when, in studio, they're polished and mixed with the other instruments to sound as clean as possible. You can't just say they're "God Starset" in the studio and "Meh Starset" live. The fact that you won't attend a Demonstration because they aren't up to your perfection standards is kind of pathetic. Not to mention the fact that you're missing out on SO much. Starset is SO MUCH MORE than what they produce in the studio and this video and performance, along with all their other performances is dead to rights proof of that. I truly feel sorry for you if this isn't "worth your time" because Dustin might not have sounded correct in some places. Any person you ask these days will comment and agree with the fact that Dustin has improved his live singing so fucking much since they began. You're missing out, plain and simple.

Sound some times can be better or some times it can go bad. But as long they put their heart out there i am going to put my chest in front of it to catch the bullet
My demons shows just how good Dustin is at singing. He nailed it. That's because my demons isn't like most of the staeset songs. Most of them.are so hard to sing , hitting those high notes after screaming like an animal isn't easy. But he sang carnivore beautifully here , a song he has historically struggled with. Gotta respect the effort he has put in

This is awesome! Dustin sounds even better live now! I love the outfits, but until My Demons I was slightly worried he might trip on the long part! (I know I would if I was moving around as much as he was lol)
Definitely an improvement live. I still think he should work around trying to get some breath because his songs are definitely hard to sing, air wise. But definitely a good improvement!

I am from Ohio originally, so I am proud to see Red Sun Rising and Starset getting big as not too many come out of that state hard rock-wise since Marilyn Manson. Though unlike Red Sun Rising, I had low live concert expectations when I clicked on this, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Dustin sounds great, the band is on point, glad to see their live performance come together.
I was there for the whole 3 days the whole concert was amazing startset nailed it kinda upset they cut short but oh well just got to save up for one of there concerts
This is absolutely amazing! I found out about STARSET a half a year ago and I'm addicted to all their song's! Dustin has such an amazing voice! ♥️ It's gotten so much better over the years too! I just really wish I knew about STARSET when this was going on in 2019.. I live in Wisconsin too. ToT But much love to STARSET!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Wow, I saw them live in 2016 and got to meet the band before the concert due to the VIP tickets we bought. He looks so different from then that I don't even recognize him.

For anyone wondering (I assume Will saw them and now knows the answer), for this tour (maybe future ones too, I wouldn't know) they begin in the rebel costumes you see in this video and about half-way or 2/3rds of the way into the show they switch to the previous costumes (space suits, Dustin dress is more formal) for the remainder of the show. In the lore this represents them going back in time to roughly present time, telling us that DIVISIONS (and the events that lead to it) occur in the future (relative to "now"). During a VIP event near the end of 2019 Dustin said he's still working on the next book which covers the events that lead up to the story of DIVISIONS. Hope that helps!
