- In this crazy world that we are all living in some events have managed to go ahead! This time its Speedweek at the historic Goodwood Venue. Martin Richards in the Driftworks R32 was invited to take part in a timed drift gymkhana style event. This was the first time a drift event has been allowed on the circuit, so the drivers have a unique opportunity to show a new audience the world of drifting.

Our R32 has a 2JZ bottom end with 1JZ top end, BorgWarner SX300 turbo, Hewland sequential gearbox, Wisefab & Driftworks suspension, and Work Wheels.

Enjoyed watching the Goodwood Live stream on RUclips this weekend and was wondering when this video would appear, just got in from work, dinner and this video will be a treat 👍
Great video, just watched it. Watching the RUclips feed on Sunday they had so much to cram in they didn't really cover the final placings, it just gave the impression Martin was the winner due to his placing on Sunday's event. Epic entertainment anyway
It was done as the average of the 3 runs which was quite confusing.
@@driftworks I watched most of the feed on Friday and Sunday (wrote the days off watching it) and I don't think they summarised the results for the Drift event (unless I missed it) so it just came across to me that Martin won on Sunday, as if that was the main event and the one to win. This was how it came across on the RUclips feed. Was ace anyway :)

Love Goodwood, will be back on track there again hopefully next year. Really want to do the rivival/speedweek and revisit Festival of Speed - have family about 2 miles away - it was planned this year :( Glad DW put on a good show :)
I've only been once, and likewise was planning on being back this year. Hopefully it's a bit more normal next year 👍

How does this work when James Deane won? Did he have a better overall time or something? or it goes by time and other aspects?? this is new to me.
Martin had the fastest single run time but the winner was the average of the 3 runs.
