Those days are almost gone I think. This newer stuff just seems like throw away stuff anymore. Doubt anyone will care to rebuild them in the years to come.
We painted a 1966 F100 the same color and paint scheme as that truck! The turquoise really brings out the body lines! Keep up the good work, great video as usual!
Thanks Guys! and thanks for the Mention! Really appreciate that! You guys are awesome and ya need us to look at something for ya in our neck of the woods let us know! Me and Sweet Mommas always looking for a ride around! lol. Keep on truckin guys!
Yea Man thanks! Hope it holds up a long time for him. He really loves that old truck... just like a truck guy should. Still awaiting news on that old hotrod you were lookin at!
Man, I must have watched the drive through the mountains 50 times. Absolutely beautiful. Stunning scenery. 👍 And the perfect song choice. Gets into my feel goods every time i watch. I love that old truck. It's very nice to see you enjoying it. Wish i could clone it... I would give you a copy.
WE would take ya up on it too! lol. Yea we were too busy to watch but had that tune in our heads all day lol. Say what you will about Fayette county but we do have some awesome scenery dont we?
Appreciate the kind words! We’re always looking for new and interesting projects to tackle. We are usually the ones getting tackled but having fun none the less! lol. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Larry, Ken's truck turned out great! This is a really special one for us as you know. Really wish we could have done a Summertime video though. Kens an awesome guy and deserves good stuff coming his way so we tried to make that thing 100% for him. You got yourself a good son. Still waiting to see what project your gonna bring home next! Lol. Hey thanks for watching and your support from day 1. Can't thank you enough!
Keep up the good 👍 work on the old car and truck. You and your wife have some nice car 🚗 and truck to. God Bless 🙏 you and your family to. From Jim and is family to.
Oh ya as long as they are considered junk or broke we will be tackling them or trying to save as much as possible, weather we know the history or not. Always worth trying to fix em. Want the old days back so bad I guess that all we can do is hang on the good ones made back then The old classic will bring back someone’s memory or spark some history to tell. Makes it all worth it.
nice video guys and I hate going to parts house anymore if they can find it on the computer your out of luck. Back in the day when they knew what you needed
Yea she does... she has the patience for it too. I dump it on and cut the paint drips off the bottom when I'm done. I have no excuse to ever hold a paint can.. The world is a better place when I dont!
I just enjoy watching you guys work on them old cars and trucks I’m not able to work in them anymore but when I was I did a lot of it god bless you all
Appreciate that, thanks for watching! Hey we all get to the point where we lay down the old 3/4 and let other folks change the oil..I'm not far behind my friend... not far at all. Glad we could give ya that garage fix though! We'll keep em coming for ya as long as we are able! Thanks for always stopping back.
That’s one of my favorite years of Ford Trucks right there I build a 64 they had 240 6 cylinder in it whenever I got it but it was blew up I pulled it out and I bought 80 model crown Vic that you couldn’t hold between the ditches so I pulled motor and transmission out of it put it in there and put the master cylinder and booster on it also, I sure wish I had a kept it
Yea its awesome. I'm a Mopar guy but gotta say Ford had it going on in the truck department in the 60's. Fine looking and driving trucks. Right there with ya on selling stuff..Would liked to seen a pic of your old one. Thanks for watching!
@ yeah I wish I had some pictures of it but I lost pictures I had of all my old trucks and cars when my house burned in 1997 unfortunately I lost pictures of my mom and dad also and there was no way to ever get them back
Man... sorry to hear that. We were never really a picture family growing up so I dont have any pics of my stuff from back when. Be cool to build a replica of each huh?
Hahaha I wiped out while standing on some old dirt car tires working on this 61 and slammed the other elbow off the concrete.. Battery went flying off the battery ratchet when I bounced off the floor. Thought I was gonna have the full Popeye starter kit with 2 massive elbows. Got lucky though. lol
Thanks Buddy! Thats good to hear. We wanted to do a super cool video on the truck but the weather changed on us. Had some cool ideas for a summer video so we had to do the best we could with what we had. Glad it turned into something entertaining! Thanks for watching and commenting... Appreciate ya!
Hi from Memphis Tennessee this Tim I in joy you working on Ford truck you did a Great job on the truck I have My self a 1978 F100 custom in my garage need work buy I love Ford Trucks
Hey Tim! Thanks for stopping in. Man it sure was nice working on something nice compared to all of our warn out busted up projects. That old Ford needs king pins I think the owner said, then it's truly 100% Glad its been a part of the channel.
You guys are amazing.. I loved this. That engine looks beautiful. I'll be proud of that engine and this video for years to come. Thank you for everything. That ride through the mountains was beautiful. I grew up in Chalkhill. I actually rented that red barn on the corner of Nelson road, and the farm house accross the street, when I was a younger man. Absolutely perfect. Also one of my favorite songs. I love what you guys have done for me and my old truck. Thank you very much. 👍
Sure Buddy! Our pleasure! Hated to see the seasons change cause we had pretty cool plans for a video.. Not many options to be creative this time of year. Thats crazy about that farmhouse. I've wanted to live there since I was a kid. Shame the house isn't there anymore. Ya got a cool truck there Bud, everyone loves that thing. Got ya a good one.
I was looking at the destinations of this year's Power Tour.... ending in Ohio. Would be a good year to go. If your seriously wanting to take my truck, that wouldn't be a problem. I'd like to go myself but I don't think I could find the time. Thanks again.. you guys are awesome. I'll get with you to settle up and talk about what the future may hold. That old truck is kind of special to me and you guys made it more special. Thanks again.. This is not the end.. as long as your willing, I have other ideas and projects swimming around in my head. 👍
Heck No! I was kiddin! Aint no AC in that old truck!!!! haha jk. Nah we were just ribbin ya but I can see that thing in my head on a pic promoting power tour.
Daniel sure knows how to get things done, always a hoot to have him around! Miss seeing him in the garage. I just sit here and laugh the whole time I'm editing the videos seeing some of the crap he does. We appreciate you watching and glad you liked the finished product Buddy! Thanks for all the work on the merch designs. Waiting on the Barracuda sell and we will be able to make a move.
Your truck turned out beautiful. Great paint on the engine. I can remember my dad and his brother my uncle going back and forth about the valves. My dad was always in favor of taking that little lip off as you mentioned. My uncle was always against it. My uncle was the mechanic of the family officially that was his job that's what he did. My dad was the welder. Elevator Brothers in couple of sisters get interesting things. Grandpa works for the railroad. But he's known the manufacturer and ship out for medicinal purposes a little rum. So it's not surprising that my dad's oldest brother's got to be pretty good drivers and mechanics. He can make your own conclusion to why that may be. I'm a teetotaler.
Thanks for sharing your family story, really cool to see how these things get passed down! We all get some roots before we're even born if ya think about it! Yea Sweet Momma layed the shine down on that old 223 for sure! That back cut is an old racers hack from stock class racers. Guess it would help most at low lift when cam spec are limited in certain racing classes. Just gotta be careful not to get into the 45 too deep!
It's amazing that the little hole is enough to feed the whole top end for lubrication. I am sure they took that into consideration when they designed the oil flow on that engine! (?) I do remember the valve chatter our truck used to make, and always thought it was normal! It never made any different which oil you used; the noise was always there! Change the oil and rum them. They seem to run forever!
Yea theyre known for that and your right, that little bit of flow dont seem like enough to me either but when the clearances are new and tight.. just dont take that much flow to keep everything happy I guess. Thanks for watching and commenting, Its a big help!
@ I recently had 3 screws put in my hip cause I broke my femur, so I’m not getting around too well right now. You can mail it if you want. 675 Flatwoods Road Vanderbilt 15486. Could you sign it too also?

Hahaha yea old Poncho is a sleepy old fella haha. He's that old guy that barely moves but would be the first there to help in a knife fight haha bet that old engine felt proud as a peacock pullin that old f250 around though!
Now that you know where to find the parts... you could always give new life to Poncho's old power plant. That engine deserves to be kept in service. It is tired for sure. But you woke it from it's grave and it stood tall and never failed. It deserves a little love.
Ha ha wish we could watch you guys lol see you smile and happy in videos ughhh that would be so cool lol That’s awesome baby. Helps to keep us going 😁🥰🤗😘❤️💙 love you guys

59.769 hp is my guess. You were 1 off. It only had 27.374 hp to begin with. Lol. It had about .12 with poncho's engine in it. Lol..
Hahaha yea old Poncho is a sleepy old fella haha. He's that old guy that barely moves but would be the first there to help in a knife fight haha bet that old engine felt proud as a peacock pullin that old f250 around though!
