Like how in Rise of Iron it showed all the Iron Lords dying and their sacrifice. I think Shadowkeep should have showed a cutscene of Eris’s Fireteam or at least the Great Disaster

That’d be a bit longer than a cutscene. The iron lords all died at once pretty much. Eris’s fireteam died throughout certain points in the raid
It could do really good as an episode on a show.

lmao i main hunter in pve yes. I just meant a kinetic weapon that sprays projectiles that explode after a moment. Obviously, it would be way different than telesto but just using that as an illustration.
Xenophage has become a mainstay in my loadouts across characters. The lore behind it is so cool, I wish it spoke to us on occasion, or communicated with us through our ghost. Kind of like a badass version of the sentient weapons in borderlands lol
But you got to admit, just shooting it is satisfaction enough.
It feels powerfull. Justified wrath and fire.
Cool idea for the catalyst: “Adds the ability to hit precision shots with rounds fired, obtained by killing hive on the moon”
I heard that xenophage will get a catalyst with Beyond Light.
That would be a great catalyst idea, but you know that bungie will do, like, complete pit of heresy solo flawlessly for a chance to obtain the catalyst or some crap

Out of all the Destiny Lore....Eris and her Fireteam makes me the saddest. I honestly get teary eyed thinking of them and what happen to them. I know its just a game but the way its written the way Bungie has us use our light and fight, and the voice acting really pulls at me u _ u

Omar died the worst way and I really hate that toland "survived" and all the other cool guardians, except eris, died.
Toland was by far the smartest and most experienced with the hive, he knew his fate.

Well empowered is not correct if, as a guardian he could use a spike grenade launcher.

Byf, have you read the lore tab for the Season 8 Exotic Ship? It insinuates some very sinister properties of the Black Garden. Turning Guardians against one another.

DONT FORGET ABOUT THE SUPER GOOD ADVICE, pretty sure a hunter downloaded himself as an AI into that gun so he won’t be forgotten
Not exactly, it was an AI created by Pahanin after what he witnessed in the vault of glass made him paranoid and put into the gun so he would never be alone
That would be so ironic. Becoming an AI to not be forgotten, only to become the most forgotten exotic weapon 😅 (aside maybe First Curse)
Bungie. Please buff this weapon a lot. I want to FEEL the power of that rage and vengeance when I fire it.

RoachdoggJR ? It can literally 1-2 shot most Major Type makes enemies. My friend and I carried through the entirety of EP for shits and giggles with this beast of a gun and it exceeded many expectations. Now.. more ammo and a better reload speed, and I’ll bet a ton of people will go and grab Xeno.
Bite the Dust! Little late, but if you play Titan then you can basically have a bottomless magazine with Xenophage by using actium war rig.
A 3D model was made some weeks before shadow keep that I think bungie sold or the creators sold, so when I got the gun I was amazed to find out the the bug in the gun was Omar.

-Lore videos, where we can listen to lore calmly with Byf’s soothing voice while learning about the game
-TSLAYP videos, where we can listen to humorous stupidity chaotically with a bunch of people screaming and laughing while learning absolutely nothing.

She didnt exactly witness all of their deaths, only a few. They were all seperated

I just finished this quest and wow. I didn’t see any spoilers for any of it and following the storyline at each progression was so rewarding.
I treated this exotic quest differently and wanted to get as much of this quest done without help (only to find an algorithm for the lost sector puzzles) and it was well worth the time. This weapon now holds a special place in my heart and heavy slot. Thanks byf for the awesome law vid.

Holy shit, you descending into the dungeon without even moving and passing through all the obstacles and landing safely was so satisfying.
The content was amazing Byf. Keep up the good work man. Always making destiny amazing for those who can't connect the dots. I don't have the DLCs yet.
I got this gun earlier tonight, and didn't think much of the story behind it. I keep forgetting that the lore in D2 is vast and as deep as the oceans. So much pain, suffering, and agony now poured into an instrument of death to make the hive suffer, even if it's only a fraction of what he endured. Proof that hubris is deadly, no matter the species. This is going to be my go to heavy for laying waste to the hive anywhere in the system.
If the performance of this weapon is a reflection upon how powerful he was it's no wonder they all died.
I mean this gun is now pretty decent at killing bosses
its god tier now.
I'm just gonna point out how op Xenophage is in menagerie now, the thing shreks the boss

Ah yes, the reincarnated soul of a powerful guardian, imbued into an extremely powerful gun frame. It can’t even one shot in crucible lol.
I loved the xenophage before I found out who it was. I main Attunement of Hunger warlock, and that basically means I devour my enemies, or the xenos. I am the xeno eater- IE the Xeno-Phage, so I really liked the idea of carrying a little me around.

Xenophage is one of my favorite guns, both in flavor and function. I'm more than happy to escort Omar on his way to nuking some Hive. Also, maybe we can get Ana Bray to put him in a modified Exo rig if he ever gets tired of being a gun.
