Having traveled thru Norway by car and by bike, there is no natural obstacle that Norwegian civil engineers cannot overcome. The road/bridge/tunnel system is amazing.
I'm a Canadian living in Sweden. We have overland through Sweden and Norway extensively in our Land Rover over the years visiting many of the sites that you have shown in this excellent series. One thing that we have learned is that you sinply don't have enough time to see everything espicially if your following a strict schedule. With that said, we are heading back to Norway this summer for several weeks and will be visiting one of the spots that you guys shared with us in this episode. Safe travels and looking forward to the next episode.
I have found the history and events interesting. How certain historical sites have played a pivotal moment in our world moving forward in peace and harmony.
Experiencing the magic of the world without the distraction of phones or laptops is truly an unparalleled level of peace and human connection. It reminds us of the freedom we can feel when we disconnect from technology and immerse ourselves in the present moment.
The 💩scene at beginning was hilarious!!! Great job keeping it real and fun to watch. Awesome episode once again. Thank you for sharing the adventure and the smiles.
When enjoying After Eights, the rule is you leave the individual wrapper. Why? To hide the fact that you ate any and others can’t blame you for it! 😊🇨🇦 Great episode!
if anyone is wondering why in Canada mac and cheese is called kraft dinner, it's because there isn't enough (any?) dairy product in it to call it cheese. Same with the "american cheese". No cheese in it so those are called kraft singles. Fun series. :)
So glad to see you guys enjoy Scandinavia. I'm also glad you visited some places that we have been to. Säskarö, my first real sand driving experience in Sweden. The Danish bakery by the windmill was a special place that me and my wife discovered on our bicykle tour around Denmark. The cakes were so good my wife teard up. I look forward to Iceland episodes as that is a goal of ours in the future.
I did the bobsled experience when I worked over there, so much fun. Norway truly is a treasure and a must visit country. So cool to see y'all travel through areas I have also been to outside of the states. This brings back some great memories from my past.
From one series to another, the cinematography is getting more and more interesting. By the way, as a French Canadian, we say "Kraft Diner". Thank you so much.
Ah man, After Eights are amazing. My grandmother used to give us those as a treat 40 years ago! They were actually from the UK starting in the 60s I believe.
if you come to Norway again, you should sail with the ferry into Lysebugten from Sævrås. it is a fantastically beautiful trip. the captain can tell you a lot about what you are sailing by.
So funny about After Eight. It was definitely a thing, we did with my Gram back in Poland many years ago. Just discovered you guys. What amazing and epic adventures!! Very inspiring and a pleasure to watch, Hello from Chicago! 😊👍
Just finished watching. Another great episode! Loved everything from the After 8 chocolates to the bobsled runs! My favorite was the road I think in Norway with all rocks on both sides. Looked amazing! Can’t wait for the next episode.
I hope you guys had a 10th as much fun as we had in Iceland. We had three days and it was to short. I think now, my wife and I are gonna be heading to Norway, Finland and that whole area for a run.
Amazing episode as always, you guys do such an amazing job with filming, editing and narration. Always inspires me to make videos. So... What the heck, After Eights is a Canadian thing? I just assumed the Americans had them too.... they are delicious little things though. Bobsledding looked so fun, and that road and Fjord in Norway was beautiful !! The Fjord really gave me Newfoundland Canada vibes but to a larger extent, it's such a beautiful province. Anyways thanks for sharing !
I follow ALL of your episodes.. I'm an old handicapped senior that can only dream of your adventures and a set of those tires on my trailblazer. I escape with my 2 dogs at 8500 feet elevation in the Colorado mountains EVERY chance I get.. 😊
12:30 That gas station was OKQ8 and the Fuling pictures befor you entered and after was att Shell Pretty Strange cuting those toghther for a swede that know our Gas stations :) with that said Pretty awsome Videos yuo doin.
Kraft Mac & Cheese....A slight deveation, in the package resepit. Instead of adding Butter, Add BACON Grease. Oh my gash, is that ever good. What's not better with Bacon.? Enjoy! This has been so much fun. Gonna miss Curt! Onward.... Cathleen
Even though I'm a Danish dude living in Sweden I have to give Norway the gold on scenic routes. We have some nice places in Sweden too but the drive there is mostly through boring forests or highways. You missed out on the "wilderness road" and Flatruet though while traveling from Norway to Finland. Further south there's some awesome beaches like Sandhammaren or Mellbystrand and some historic places to visit like Sala silver mine.
Wife and I were discussing your overlanding experience in general and we had questions. Where do you guys relieve yourselves and where/when do you bathe? Love xoverland! Thanks guys
I related when you said things seem familiar, south sweden. I am in maine, it is actually colder ..not just the hills. the atlantic too. I have a very old paternal history there. Look forward to iceland.
Thanks for sharing. I love each and every episode. 20/10. Can I suggest a new tradition..... you tell us how much the fuel costs at each stop and your general expenses. This would give others an indication of travel expenditure. The Swedish Fiord is beautiful however it is NOT a patch on Milford Sound, which is a fiord in the south west of New Zealand's South Island within Fiordland National Park. You need to check our beautiful country out. Again, thanks from New Zealand.
Would like to see some off road action! All this can be done in a normal car. It’s disappointing that there are no off road trails in the Nordic countries.
Europe is small and densely populated. It's covered in tarmac. From where I live I've to drive at least 1500km to get to the French Alps to have at least a little bit of gravel. Lucky you if it's different where you live.
@@Christian76S Europe is small....??? Compared with what...??? Here is some geography help for you: If you compare with the US (including Alaska) then still Europe is larger ....and if you look specific on the lower 48 ....than Europe is much larger..... There are no distance ....whatever direction....that can match distances in Europe..... Didn't you hear what was said in the video that they had been driving a distance ....where the majority was in Scandinavia..... that was equal to crossing the US .....twice..... Scandinavia + Finland is much bigger area than France ....so there are plenty of wilderness....but we don't allow the nature to be destroyed by off-road driving ....hence it is illegal to do that kind of stuff.
These last videos has been from Scandinavia. There are no arid deserts like Arizona or Utah. Be also aware of the geo location of Scandinavia ....which is equally far north as northern part of Alaska. The nature in the Arctic is very vulnerable so off roading would be damaging to nature ....hence it is illegal to do that kind of stuff. So stay on the road. Also Iceland gives no free card to do whatever, but has clear restrictions on where you can drive....and that is only on dedicated routes....
Having traveled thru Norway by car and by bike, there is no natural obstacle that Norwegian civil engineers cannot overcome. The road/bridge/tunnel system is amazing.
From South Africa ..and a person that loves camping and 4x4 with family .. I truly love all your series .. totally awesome
Thank you guys for showing off my Norway to the world in a fantastic way!!🙏🏻
Makes me proud of being Norwegian.

Amazing videography! But off pavement overlanding is must for this team… hoping the series leads into challenging terrain 🍿
Don’t worry. It does. There’s soooo much more to “Overlanding” then just off roading. Stay tuned 🎉
