Ah yeah... I believe the main oil is sesame, so usually that’ll be the oil that will be used. I think using peanut oil is rare - but peanuts do turn up every now and again. Do you have a translated card which explains your allergy in Japanese so you can show it to restaurants? If not I would get one! I have a friend who has a severe peanut allergy and he went to Japan recently and I was totally fine, but I would still over plan just to be sure!

Oh my goodness, yes, it was delicious! I felt bad because I couldn't finish it. I tried really hard but it was so filling!
