Hi, I am a Japanese home maker live in YOKOHAMA.
Thank you so much for visiting HIROSHIMA and the peace memorial. I am glad you felt a lot. You experienced the museum and the rebuilt city of Hiroshima and I enjoy your video. How peaceful it is now!
I am a mother of two, one is a college student, the other is in highschool. I took them to Hiroshima to visit the museum in December. We ate pizza and pasta at the cafe you had fresh orange juice.
Watching you wonder around in Japan is really fun. There are so many different kinds of Japanese foods and interesting beautiful places I want to introduce to you. Come back again and again. Hope someday I can be your guide!
Hi Zane! I'm from Hiroshima, living in the US now. Thank you so much for visiting the Peace Memorial Park. As you mentioned in the video, we had avery sad history there, but keeping it there is important. I'm glad that you went there. I was in Hiroshima last November. Watching you eating Okonomiyaki made me hungry and jealous lol. Please visit again! We always welcome tourists like you who respect the people, place and the history :) Thank you!
i am a filipino living in japan for 25yrs. i consider myself a japanese love ur vlogs
🇯🇵❤🇵🇭
Bro, I’m from the US and I’m currently talking to this Filipina. However I’ve heard good and bad stuff about the Philippines in general including women. I really like her and want to get with her. Please tell me about Filipinas, we’re both 24yrs old

It's so hard for our generation to even imagine what had happened during that time, and I'm pretty sure it was very difficult for you to verbalize your feelings, especially right after visiting such an exhibit. I know this because I felt the same way when I visited the Pearl Harbor Memorial as a Japanese citizen. So I appreciate you very much for trying to express it in your own words.
Knowing the past makes me realize how precious it is to maintain this close, friendly relationship with mutual respect, and it reminds me of the importance even more now that some parts of the world are heading back to the opposite directions. I love your vlogs and thanks for sharing it with us!
As a Japanese , I think it is important to try to know history.
However, it is the war that is bad. If you don't kill the other side, you will be killed. That is all.
And I do not think that people today who have nothing to do with the war need to feel responsible for it.
So I would be happy if everyone simply enjoys Japan.
As an American, thank you for your statement, very well said. I have both Japanese contacts and Japanese-American friends and often I feel some guilt, even though it was not part of my generation's involvement. War is terrible, sadly sometimes needed. We also think about the Pearl Harbor attacks, fair to say that was an attack on the military and not necessarily civilians. Pray for peace to all the world my friends. Thanks for sharing your travels Zane.
You are correct - it is important to know history NOT to TRY to know history. The Japanese started the war on December 7, 1941 by their surprised attack on Pearl Harbor.
@@grapxartz Pearl Harbour isnt even the reason the bombs were dropped. The japanese people were absolutely vicious when it came to the treatment of countries they invaded and what they were willing do to up until the bombs were dropped.
日本軍もひどいことをしたから、日本と広島・長崎だけが被害者ではないけどな
Well stated
I am german and i went to japan 4 times always around one month and i ve been to hiroshima 4 days and i met the frinedliest people in whole japan. Everyone was so open and nice like the orange juice girl. Amazing city i really want to go back one day. Haha "Bier löwen" means beer lion. Next time i should try the store with the german name😂 oysters are super popular there. It was also the best oysters i ve ever had. At miyajima you should try an oyster its the second best food after hiroshima okonomiyaki which is my fav. Japanese food
広島に来てくれてありがとう。歴史を知ってくれてありがとう。広島はお好み焼きをはじめ食べ物も美味しいので、また遊びに来ていただけるとうれしいです✨良い旅を~Have a good trip.
Love your japan series 😊😊
Bro, getting addicted to your Japan videos!!! More please 🤤
I have binge watched so many of your adventures! You do a wonderful job of making us feel like we’re traveling with you. You’re a great pleasure to watch! Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you, David!
Bro I love watching your videos! I love it when you eat food and your face lights up when you take a bite😂😂😂
I’m going to Japan in May and watching this is making me sooo excited
You will have an amazing experince. I just got back and loved every bit of it
Love the Japan series! Awesome! Always wanted to go there! You give good ideas on where to go and also on the food and drink choices. Still don't know how you figure out all those metro and train stops! I would be lost😂 thanks for your vlogs
I’m visiting in May Zane. I was born one month after the Abomb. My late father told me many stories of the devastating destruction and total loss of life. He was sent to help build and clear the destruction. He was in the British Army. So emotional area. I’m from the UK. I’m on a tour of Japan in May
As a Japanese living abroad, I love your appreciation for Japanese culture
Thank you 🙏
I love Japan to my friend
Good words! Have a wonderful day.
I live in Hiroshima😀Thank you for coming to my hometown ! Enjoy your trip !
Always a great day when you upload, thanks for another great video
I will be definitely respectfully visiting the Peace Park museum when I stay in the Hiroshima area. Like you I can imagine it will stir up a lot of emotions for myself.
Loved you walking tour in Hiroshima😊
I’m glad that you enjoyed in Japan. また遊びにきてね〜
You are addicted to melon breads!!😊 isn’t it so good? I love it too!!! Enjoy your stay!
Hey Zane! I love your travel vlogs! And I like how respectful you are when you travel. Some influencers/vloggers act like they are the kings of the world... Mad respect and keep up the good work! If you ever travel to Europe and Sweden, I can give you a lot of tips. Cheers!

Welcome to JAPAN🇯🇵🌸⛩️
You gotta try that ramen place that had the line Ichiran, its a chain that you can find in other cities too
I love that you visited Hiroshima. I am amazed at how the city came back and is thriving. It was only 80 years ago that it was nearly flattened and left for nothing. This shows the incredible strength of the Japanese people. I am glad they have things like the park and memorial you went to so it helps us remember and learn from the past. Thank you for taking us with you.
Not much to learn when they deny and cover up a lot of the horrible things they did. Learning their history really shines a whole new light on what happened.

I'm Japanese. I like taking my travel vlog too. I enjoy watching your travel video. 😊And your video helps me to learn English. Thank you!
Zane + Dragonforce collab. Never thought I'd see the day!
Welcome to my town Hiroshima. If you are still in Hiroshima, I would like you to see Kagura, which is Hiroshima's proud local performing art.
The covered shopping street is called a shotengai in Japanese. It is quite traditional, and may be either covered or uncovered.
Really enjoyed thank you❤
With the okonomiyaki it's cabbage not lettuce. And the noodles are like yakisoba yaki is grilled or fried and soba is the noodles. The fish is taiyaki tai is the fish shape and yaki is grill. Donkihote is tax free over 5500 yen and if you have your passport with you. And the spice you put on the chicken is shichimi 7 flavour spice.
What a cool place to visit. I've only had Okonomiyaki at home with the mix you can buy and make yourself. Thanks for sharing!🙌 Shotengai are the covered shopping alleys.
It's interesting how on minute 5:18, you hear people chatting. 1 minute later in your video, you notice silence.
After visiting the museum, you understand why it goes quiet. You feel a lot of emotions, not sure how to react. It shows that war hurts people.
I’m respecting you came Hiroshima. You are a great tourist.. thanks
Looks like you missed the National Peace Memorial Hall when you were there, its just to the right of the fountain when you're looking at it with the museum behind you. That is also a must see if anyone goes there, you go down into a giant circular concrete building where you will end up in a big circular room with pictures of the destruction covering the walls every way you turn. It is a surreal experience and really shows you what it must have been like to be there. There is also a room after that with screens of the victims, you can look then up on tablets there too... it is extremely sobering looking at the pictures of children scroll across those screens, seeing their ages and names... similar to how traumatizing it is to see the tatters of children's clothes in the museum, but even more personal because you can see their pictures they took for their school photos etc...
An absolutely sobering place but a must for anyone visiting Japan, just please if anyone goes there please be respectful and don't queue up to take selfies in front of the fountain (people were doing that when I went there while the locals were just trying to pray)
every place you went in Hiroshima is
I've been to! cuz I’ve been living in Hiroshima for a while. Thank you so much for visiting Hiroshima and doing blog!!!!!!
Loving your videos Zane! We went to Japan last year during Spring time and of all places we have visited, Hiroshima is the best for us. Considering we only did a day trip from Osaka, we were so amazed how they rebuilt the city after the bombings. We hope to be back next month and for sure no day trip is happening, we will definitely be spending at least 3 days there. 🙏
Another interesting video. Just fyi- the vehicles are called "streetcars" in English. And the covered shopping areas are "arcades". And the fish shaped waffles are "taiyaki".
Hiroshima has a painful history in the past. Watching your video makes me want to fly right away. I looked it up online and it takes about 2 hours by plane. Where are you? I'm kidding.🥰🥰
I am so glad you posted this video. I live here in Hiroshima prefecture. I pretty much go to this city every weekend I get a chance too. Hiroshima has felt like my second home to the States. I've as well made it a tradition to walk past the Atomic Bomb dome every time I need to leave to my pay respects. The city's atmosphere is always amazing, and I met some amazing friends in the city. The longer you live there the more appreciative the city is.
I am Japanese. My recommended spots are Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Plaza and the Imperial Palace. Also, if you want to see cherry blossoms, we recommend Ueno Onshi Park or the Meguro River cherry blossom trees. The cherry blossoms are expected to be in full bloom on March 30th.

All time low - Therapy playing in Japan. That’s awesome!
The covered shopping streets you walked thouugh are known as shotengai and the ramen shop you saw people queuing for is the famous Ichiran known for individual cubicle eating
Shotengai! That's it - thank you!
You’re so brave. You’ve inspired me to travel again!
Selfishly, on another note, we’re missing you on ZIG. ☺️
Those covered shopping areas are called "shotengai"
hey dude love this vid gj!
Mermaid bakery is a branch started from Anderson’s. You may have eaten the same melon bread twice 😂 Mermaid’s is the to go version of Anderson’s. Mermaid’s bakery is usually in the station. Bread is also big deal in Hiroshima, I grew up eating as much bread as rice.
Have you tried Okonomiyaki in Osaka? It's different from the Hiroshima style okonomiyaki that you tried. Also "Taiyaki" is the fish shaped pastry thing you were looking at:)
Welcome to my town. You passed by my workplace :)
What a great day!
Try finding tsukemen ramen and mazesoba next!
Daily Japanese tip 4- oknomyaki. How to pronounce it is that all the O’s are pronounced as in not. Ya as in yard. Ki as in key.
We have in México a bread just like that one from the Little Mermaid. It’s called Concha !! And we have it also with sugar and cocoa !!! Delicious !!! 🤤🤤🤤
Hi Zane! You would save a bunch of money by getting yourself a refillable water bottle, because the tap water is safe to drink in Japan and there are plenty of parks and rest stops with refilling stations.
Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima is one of the best foods in Japan
Hi Zane, the commercial area with the roof is called "Shotengai" which is your friendly neighborhood establishment and franchises of all things Japanese at local price 😊
Have you been to Fukuoka yet? I recommend stalls in Fukuoka.
Nice report~😻ニャ~👍️
広島のお好み焼き屋は東京のものと全く違うので両方試すことをおすすめします。

Omg, this was…. I don’t even know. As an American we are led to believe our govt had no other choice and that the decision ended the war. That doesn’t make me feel better and this breaks my heart. Thank you for showing this.
Love Japanese Bakery’s. Heavy subject when you enlighten your viewers about the history of Hiroshima, although very important and it makes your visit to Japan more interesting. When you went to HCM, Vietnam, there’s also an American War Museum where it goes deep with the war between UsA & Vietnam. I’ve been to it several years ago, super interesting. Attack of Pearl Harbor was on December 7, 1941. And it’s true Japanese have a huge infatuation and love of Hawaii, although the number of visitors aren’t like pre pandemic, it’s due to the weak Yen and strong USD. Just wondering, what airline did you fly on from Honolulu to Haneda? A lot of people are moving from Instagram to TikTok nowadays. RUclips is always on my feed. Check out Fukuoka or Chitose if you’re going to be in Japan for a month. Safe travels and enjoy drinking beer, highballs, and eating Ramen, yakitori and Okonomiyaki!!!
gyudon, kaiten sushi, mos burger are also good and I recommend
Thanks for posting this video.

I am heading to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka then back to Tokyo….then back home to LA. I leave for Japanese tomorrow…any must see spots or tips?

Rather than criticizing the country that dropped the atomic bomb, we would like people from all countries (victors and defeated) to come to this museum as evidence that this bomb should never be used on people. Thank you.
"Do you vlog with your GoPro™?"

You're back in Japan? How I thought you had to wait like 6 months before returning
That should be a ananas bread because the exterior is that of a ananas! It doesn’t matter, maybe they didn’t label it clearly!
In fact, the United States made a last resort decision, and Japan invaded other countries around the world and killed people indiscriminately!
Your heart is heavy because you are a good person. I hope you will not be too sad and please continue your beautiful life!
There are two types of 御好燒/お好み焼, Hiroshimayaki and Okonomiyaki. Both are famous Japanese snacks, similar but different.
Next time you go to Osaka, you can try Okonomiyaki! Great guide in Hiroshima, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏
You are missing some parts. The japanese tortured and raped indiscriminately as well. They were training civilians with swords in the case of a land invasion so that everyone would fight and die. Horrible

To parents that spent (or will spend) so much money on pokemon plushies/cards, don't expect to recoup any of that money after your kids outgrown them. I have put 24 plushies on marketplace for half the new price and all I get are tire kickers. Ugh!
Don’t get me wrong I love watching your videos and will continue to do so, but I was so annoyed when you said you are hungry and want Okonomoyaki yet took forever to get there lol.

What I want you to know is the Peace Memorial Park, not the atomic bomb memorial park.
As a Japanese, that's it.
Not to crowded like Tokyo
Daily Japanese tip 3- to say goodbye in Japanese say sayonara. Sa as in sarcasm yoo as in not and na as in banana, ra as in raft. To speak to people who are older than you say shitsuree shimasu. Shitsu with a silent u and I. ree report shi as in she and ma as in mart and su with a silent u.
Come back to korea
Those shopping streets are called shoutengai.
Don't call it baskin robins here. Nobody will understand what you're talking about. They know it as 31, even though the 31 spells out BR on the sign.
