@@ranjanarai5042 You can actually zoom in. On computer you could use ctrl + + to zoom in or ctrl + - to zoom out. In iphone you can spread your fingers on the screen to zoom in or zoom out. In android its kinda complicated because most android phones are tend to be slow but here are the steps - open any browser (I reccomend chrome) Go to youtube.com, click on the video that you want to watch and use your fingers to zoom in or out.
I'm confused, just as a suggestion maybe make the drawings bigger so that I can actually see what the structure looks like because all I see is a big blob which makes it hard to connect to the explanation.
Phospholipids contain the following elements: a phosphate and alcohol that comprise the polar head group, joined to a hydrophobic fatty acid tail by phosphodiester linkages. There should be a structure drawn on here. One or more fatty acids are attached to a backbone to form the hydrophobic tail region.
In this video, timestamp 6:07, it says that cis double bonds create kinks, while trans double bonds create straight fatty acid tails. I thought any double bond at all created a kink which made the tail unsaturated, regardless of if the double bond is cis or trans. What am I missing?
If you look at the cis-unsaturated fatty acid you would notice a bending while trans would have a straight structure because the the carbons are not on the same side
Trans fats on the other hand are straight and have trans double bonds that do not create kinks, instead of cis double bonds that create kinks like in unsaturated
The other fella who did the protein structure had a very pleasant voice, much better explaining than this one, and this is too small, can't see properly.
Can you write bigger? It's hard to see.
RUclips should create an option to zoom into videos.
yup
Still it would be better to have zoom option

I can't read your phospholipid drawing. It's very small and blurry.
3:00 "you probably don't need to know these" my profesor literally asking me to draw cerebroside, hemoglobine and cholesterol in one single oral exam
🤣🤣🤣🤣,you be fine ,I can feel your pains
Pity it is so hard to see what is written on the board!!
Really Thank you :)
very dark and small! Please make it better!
Thank you soo much.
thank you

sooo helpful
thank u for this awesome video🙌
Awesome!!!

Very very hard to see
How is there an ester bond with the phosphate head when there's no O=C there?
i dont think thats an ester bond I think the entire OH was replaced by the O from the phosphate
Have khan academy made a video on glycolipids?

yeah I think he's wrong there, I looked it up on pubmed and it says saturated fatty acids don't contain any double bonds
Trans fats on the other hand are straight and have trans double bonds that do not create kinks, instead of cis double bonds that create kinks like in unsaturated
it was helpful
drawings are not clear
@@mohammadsaeedullah4661 i am married but if you are looking for your trouble i can handle it with great pleasure.

Terrible quality please fix!
This video is subpar to the other mcat videos bc the drawn images are too small to observe and the font is too thin to really see.
It is not clear
My god guys. Just zoom in. Its literally the easiest drawing to read.
cant continue this..... really bad explanation
Are u nuts or what? It's invisible despite your effort.
I thought that the Phospholipid had Gycerol and 2 fatty acids. Not a Gycerol and HC. Im confused
A fatty acid is a carboxyl and hydrocarbon (HC) tail.
this is terrible. khan academy should recruit more efficient presentor
+Nasif Sayeed yeah this presentor is pretty shitty lol
this is free, if you dont like it, leave.
@@josephtran4891 its critisism tho, he suggests that the presentation is bad and suggests it should improve
incorrect in many aspects
Payal Chand for example?
Thanks alot
