They sorta do. That’s monster high. They were huge years ago then were discontinued but now they’ve been rebooted last year. Tho their toy line is intended for children and doesn’t go nearly as hard as this spider queen project. But then they are a beloved base for doll customisers and people have made plenty of unique dolls. Check out dollightful’s Halloween videos if horrific dolls interest you

How do you get paint to stick to plastic. I've found it wants to just be pushed around the surface.

It all depends on the type of plastic.
You can try and slightly ruff it up with sandpaper or try heat (check the crafsman for a video)
