You're one of the most inspiring and encouraging musician in the world. Why? Because you convinced me that it's nothing that I can't afford to buy a sax and pay for lessons. Little and cheap 10-hole harmonica is equally or even more powerful. I'm learning from your lessons, and feel my dream is gradually coming true. Thank you for that. Please keep on posting your videos, no matter if these will be lessons or performances - both are great :)
this is really amazing! Adam Gussow used to be black, and then when his abusive mom bathed him in a lead solution, turning him bright white. it was a medical miracle that the poor kid survived let alone learn to play a couple of songs on the harmonica, even if they were quite weak and soppy. I am so glad I could see this. Keep up the good work Adam!
Adam .. keep it on .. we sttilll people like you .. People live now on so much stress .. they cant even stop to enjoy this magnificent piece or art ..
tnks for the vids .. i enyoy every single one of them
that was brilliant Adam!
I was actually hoping you would do more of these "street harp videos", since I loved the last one so much.
Just a harp and a drum sound so nicely together!
A pleasure to listen to as always! Thanks for sharing, I'm insprired!
Man you have them vibes going! Keep the spirit and come down to Buzz's for some blues jams on Thursdays.
This needs more likes! Gussow should be declared a National Treasure!
That guy is a great source of inspiration!
Best harp improv and music from the soul. Jammin' on the street not caring a damn. How does he think of this music?...He Doesn't!

Your Fantastis man , Great ammount of Talent Cheers From Canada.
Boy I would love to hear you live... Got to schedule a trip to the US...
Love it Adam
This is great!! Although this was probably just intended to show what the teacher is able of doing, I think it's one of the most valuable harmonica lessons here. We get to see and hear how to integrate a melodic line with a rhythmic background, keeping the beat. This is something the great blues players know how to do. I am going to try to use this as an example to set up a bunch of riffs within the progression, using different rhythmic backgrounds. Maybe I'll learn to play...
Dude! That was so awesome!!! As one of your 1st yr. students, you have inspired me to push harder to get to the place where I could go out and try this. Thank you Adam. :)
Amazing adam nicely done

Awesome.
Excellent..
Sick my friend...sick.
@phatenderske: Good question! Zen practitioners talk about "no mind": just doing it with bare attention; just letting it happen. That's where much of my best music comes from. I work on lots of things quite consciously when I practice; I also do repetitive patterns that train and upgrade my reflexes. But when I play, I just play and let the music flow out, without over-thinking it.
Who would dislike this? I mean, I understand being neutral on the music style...
wowowowow
bravoooooo!!
this! is very cool. keepin it tame. digin.
That was real good.
Sweet! That's so awesome:D
@surrealIdeal : Farmer Foot drums dot com. Pete Farmer in Bellingham, Wash. But I don't think he makes this particular set any more.
... are you really speaking french Adam?? Holly molly! This was a master one-man here, you just kind-of summarized your unique style in one single video, I dig it.
Au contraire je trouve que parler en français rajoute encore plus de mystère au mythe AG ;-)
FrenchJHarpBoy
yeah really cool Adam!
5*
Your friend
Konstantin
EXACTLY!!! :)
I want that foot drum
Oh! I need a tight A harp and a tube amp!
amazing!
Sure wish i had just a tiny bit of that skill!
Have an harp, just need to get the nerve to pick it up and play..
Thanks Adam. I have been jamming on the guitar to this, can you please send me a link to buy the lesson.
this is very inspiring, love it. where can I buy those kicking foot-drums?

"just doing it..." "and let the music flow out" this ist the real "Kunst" in german.
this comes from "können".
You can. you just do. sometimes I try but I should practice more just to have the
courage to myself.
BruniWMcF
how does he think when he plays?...i dont think he does.
Nice lookin HG Adam
bf
Hello, do you get good money by playing in the street? I don't know if people realize your quality of playing when they pass you by and reward you accordingly?
sweeeeeeeeeeeet
Hey Adam I would like to know what harmonica you were playing in this video and what key and each you have an amp or bullet Mark microphone I am blind so I can't see the video
I was playing a standard Marine Band model 1896 in the key of Bb. I'm playing through a pair of linked small amps: a Kay 703 and a HarpGear 2. My mic is an early 1980's model Shure PE5-H.
It seems "Saint Louis Blues", a bit.
