Thank you for your comments. The HP-50g is a computer running a program. Programs have limitations (as humans do, of course), and it is always wise (using any software tool) to poke at the result as a way to ascertain the sanity of it. For instance, if the function of time is a current in an inductor, check the initial and the final value, and the initial derivative, etc. It is the same if you are using Maple, Mathematica, Wolfram Alpha, always the human user's is the final verdict.
