@Miles Doyle I have to be honest... Your timing with this comment was amazing. Just the other day. I was contemplating to how the world came about. And I started doubting God and his ideals. Cuz through out history... Mankind has always used the concept of God to commit horrible atrocities against their own kind.. For their own personal gains.. For them they use God as a justification for their evil doings. I can't tell how many times this has happened in the past. But imagine the world if the concept of Religion didn't exist. There would have been far less suffering in this world. more than half of the wars in our history was because of this scenario.

This is just an example to many more scenarios. this was the most basic conflict starter through out history.

That test with the cats was really really dumb. Cats are in the middle of the food chain and they need high or dark spaces to hide in, so their first instinct in a new environment is to... explore it.
The idea that cats don’t have emotional attachments to their humans is a bit of a stretch to me.
Whenever I come back from a vacation, one of my cats is super pissed at me for it, and refuses to accept cuddles for a little bit.
I’m not even the one who feeds them in this household (mostly), so it has nothing to do with food.
I’ve also had another cat earlier in my life who acted in a simular manner, so it’s not just a fluke either.

My cat has never let a stranger pet her, I even give her to my guests to pet her, but she made a huge scene and a fight. She likes to jump around my neck, and stays there, she licks my hair, but usually i don't let her to lick my hair, so now she backed out a little bit of that.
If you don't show affection toward your cat, your cat won't be attached to you either. And remember never force a cat to love you, you have to build a friendship together, and slowly. And also you have to adopt them when they are kittens, otherwise they let anyone to pet them.
Owning a cat it's like getting a girlfriend, if you stalk and force her she will going to hate you, and calls the cops on you. :))))

Dogs aren't always used for purposes either as they're also just there for companionship and for something to take care of. People who own cats aren't lazy either, some people have jobs and don't have time to look after a needy dog who leaves a wrecked house for them to clean up when they get home.
I agree and they literally take care of themselves. With a dog you need to bathe them, take them for walks so they don’t poop on your floor, etc.. a cat can literally clean itself and use litter. And the best thing about owning a cat is when it sleeps with you. I never see any dog owners sleeping with their dogs because they always need to be let outside and have shit all over their paws
