Despite being one of the highest paid comedians, he's often overlooked. He's got very seasoned and refined delivery that compliments his witty observations. And while I'm more into self deprecating, dark, vulgar comedy, I've always dug Regan's stuff. He always sounds like a really funny, yet clean, coworker.
The timing of the light guy that was keeping him in the spotlight as well. Even shifted the light slightly when Brian's hand moved. I SEE YOU SPOTLIGHT GUY! I SEE YOU!
I was watching a Henry Cho interview. They were discussing clean comics. Brian’s name came up. So I had to see him. Henry said,”There’s Brian Regan,” raising his hand above his head. “Then there’s the rest of us.” He put his hand at chin level. Henry Cho and Leanne Morgan are my absolute favorites. I’m looking forward to watching Brian.
I’m the life of the party thanks to Brian Regan’s jokes. Not because I repeat his jokes, but I repeat his set up. I’m always telling people about the numbers I picked on the lottery. They get so excited hearing my story about numbers!
I seriously hate lottery players, mostly because I always get stuck behind them at the checkout while they insist on scratching them off RIGHT THERE and then get mad they don't win and then BUY MORE
@@billtree52 And then there's the pick3/pick4 players who read off a list of 80+ sets of numbers to play. If you happen to repeat back a number wrong, they get pissed off because now they have to play that number, too. And the scratch off players that don't even play the scratch-off. They just scratch off the code at the bottom and ask you to run it to see if it won. Now THAT'S addiction.
@Marty's 4x4 That was over 20 years ago. My store didn't enforce that rule on them because they were regular customers. It took them showing up multiple times during rushes that resulted in multiple gas drive-offs for management to finally crack down. I hated that job.
No comedian hammers or ridicules people’s irrational behavior in a sarcastic and humorous way more than Regan. Not even George Carlin or anyone else I’ve ever seen. Regan will always be the best.
Brian looks great and fit, he gets more handsome with age! Still great comedy. Doesn't have to use the F word as a filler to compensate like a lot of comics today do; he's a natural. Used to like watching him in the 1990s walking back and forth on the stage. He's a little more calmer now but just fantastic as ever.
No one does clean comedy like him… what a treasure. His specialty IMO is his ability to do sarcasm in it's most PURE form and with his unique physicality… love his comedy.
If you ever meet someone who is a bad storyteller, you'll understand this. Honestly, in some ways, this is better than reality, as Brian jazzes it up (the 2 pick). I've had to escape from storytellers when others were around, and I've also been the last one standing, the one who was unofficially chosen to listen to the entire story. Oh god...
My friends and I found him in the early 91-92. And have always held him up with the best. He's so funy it sickening. I got to see him in a perfring arts center in San Luis Obispo,California a few years back. He didnt disappoint ..
I've loved his standup routines for years...hilarious guy..and we all know those people that are telling you a story that goes nowhere and you're like, Why are you telling me this?? LOL
Norm MacDonald called Brian his favorite peer comedian. In terms of skill in delivery they were both at the top. Brian still is, but was too. Both could weave a tale about any mundane topic and make it long and hilarious
Man, this guy is one of very few comedians who just forces me to laugh. I can't watch him in a quiet setting or somewhere laughing would be inappropriate.
Got two tickets and the first numbers Brian said on the Mexican ''Daily Lotto'', 01-04-07-21-26 and 02-05-16-17-28 . I'll let you know the results in later today!
I've never seen his stand up, I've only heard it until this. I didn't think I'd enjoy his live performance but this changes my mind. This was pretty funny.
I love the irony that he crafted this bit from nothing and made it more. Absolutely brilliant word choices like drilling it, lock in the 2, and flip the table. He’s come a long way from his cup of dirt.
The man is hilarious, clean, and has so many solid jokes. Check out his specials over past 10 yrs. I Walked on the Moon, Epitome of Hyperbole, All By Myself... all comedy gold. His facial expressions really add to the jokes.
I’m happy and kinda gutted to see this guy be a popular comedian. New fans of regan have so much to discover. Kinda gutted now that everyone knows him. But happy for him because he deserves to be appreciated by everyone. The best in the world.
Timing and delivery with Brian Regan is always comedic gold.

“You managed to follow nothing…with less.” is an immortal line.
Think of it as Dracula.
Brian Regan is such a master. He’s not one of those comedians that has you laughing every line, but the punchlines are always worth the wait.
what? the dude is a master of economy and his word choices often rival Seinfeld
Norm Macdonald brought me here. I can see why he says this guy is one of the best. RIP NORM 🙏

The irony is that we're all sitting here listening to a story about a story about lottery tickets with shock and awe.
You can tell there's so much rage underneath, but still, how do you make reading lottery tickets funny? Bits like this make him one of the best.
One of the best standups of all time. If he's talking, I'm gonna be listening!
And my thinking on the 44 was, hey get the 44! Regan is genius.
Ya gotta get the 44!!!

Best comedian ever. This also reminds of his "dry raisin/dry sandwich" joke. A lot of repressed anger at people.
Also the beaver one
He owns humor like most of us own breathing. He just has it.

He’s still alive. I saw him last night
