So a quick tip. The damage of the actual multiple solar nade centers DOES NOT STACK, similar to multiple Witherhoard shots. However, by throwing one solar nade directly at a target and then multiple others around the target, the touch of flame little fire balls with increase your damage, and also give you a larger radius.
I really like the restoration x2 tech though. If you didnt know, landing all fire bolts from incinerator snap on an enemy will cause an ignition with ember of ashes. Incinerator snap and pheonix dive (enhanced) with embers of ashes has enough to ignite an enemy. Since the last source of damage before the ignition was melee, sunbracers will proc. This will also trigger and instantly increase the timer for rest x2 upon landing with enhanced pheonix dive. Pop on a sword that has incandecent, and you're an unkillable tank with rest x2 with the aspect that increases duration with kills.
With heat rises you can have infinite restoration x2. Works as following: - eat nade - jump up and use snap on enemies - press phoenix dive immediately after snapping so you land on the ground roughly when enemies die - you gain restoration x2 with 7-12 sec. duration What you need: Heat rises, snap, ember of empyrean, phoenix dive So I recommend swapping between icarus dash and touch of flame but having heat rises equipped at all time. Use touch of flame when you need the damage, if you want the movement go with icarus dash. Also you can use strafe glide for it feels the best with heat rises active and you will have that active all the time.
^^^^^ Note this is optimal medium end content and sometimes on slightly higher end due to restoration 2x and cure always being up so you won’t die as long as you have both up unless you take too much burst which is rare and you would have well for.
This was what I was using and it definitely wasn't as good for me. I died way more often. Relying on orbs+grenade kills to generate consistent healing is working much better for me.

Not using heat rises with Phoenix dive is out right criminal. With heat rises, you gain restoration 2x and scorch targets for 40(+20). Scorching a target with your melee and then igniting that scorch will count as a melee kill for sunbracers. So the combo is basically, activate heat rises, snap and dive. Everything explodes, you gain resto 2x and sunbracers activates. You can do that until the sun burns out as long an your can set an ignition with your melee. Is it me, or does Bungie just want us to play the game the way they want us to play. And not the way we would like to. I'm not against nerfing op builds, but what's the point of nerfing it to the point that no one will ever use it.

Is it just me or did he miss out on what armor mods he used for his chest I'd like to know as I'm reaching for either font of endurance or charged up and can't decide?
Sunbracers was nowhere near as fun and reliable as Starfire due to having to proc it which can be annoying to at times even in raids and GMS Sometimes when you Proc it your teamates killed all the Ads anyway or there are not that many nearby or all the ads are too tanky. Also I liked how you needed to use an empowering rift for Starfire it switches up the gameplay a bit because 90% of the time rift is kinda useless.

I dont understand why the high discipline stats when sunbracers proc on powered melee kills. Should the stats be high Strength instead?
This was just the gear I had at the time, definitely would recommend high strength if possible. Though I will say, with the build setup we had I had zero issues with ability uptime whatsoever.
No dim link??
Sorry brother was on an airplane when this was posted! Will be adding it in a few minutes 👍🏻
i despise how essential well is, i just want to play void warlock.
What mods do you put on your chest armor
Just resist mods!
I personally think the nerf was way too hard. Oh well. Time to experiment with different builds.
I agree, I suppose we’ll have to wait and see though. Hope it’s not unusable.
9:01 How did you reduce ashes to assets and solar surge cost?
It was from an artifact mod from one of the previous season
@@Shiroyasha830 wait so how was he still using them ? Cause my season of the deep mods became inactive after start of season 22.
@@Toasted_Buttons the video was recorded during the time the mods were available
@@Shiroyasha830 ah okay
3 months playing, ive gotten 5 starfire's, all terribly rolled, usually with 20 strength and terrible dist.
4 veritiy's, also terribly rolled. 1 pair of geomags, and a Nazarecs sin. Ive run i dont know how many lost sectors ive run, and seen neither hide nor hair or Necro Grips, no sunbracers after every nightfall, gambit, crucible, or daily runs.
At this point, im operating under the perspective of "these are drops only available in certain regions, so ill never see one".
Is it me, or does Bungie just want us to play the game the way they want us to play. And not the way we would like to. I'm not against nerfing op builds, but what's the point of nerfing it to the point that no one will ever use it.
I was saying this to my friend the other day .. the problem with this game is they always want to force a meta … why can’t multiple things be meta .. it’s even worse for PvP you force people out of stompees now we will be plagued with young ahamkaras.. starfire was broken yes but it was very fun nerf it to 10 percent don’t destroy it and force sunbracers meta
I agree. It’s almost like things under the radar for them, are used in the meta for a be try long time, and then absolutely gutted to the point where that playstyle just isn’t an option anymore
Is it just me or did he miss out on what armor mods he used for his chest I'd like to know as I'm reaching for either font of endurance or charged up and can't decide?
Go for whatever you'd like there! I just went with resist mods.
You lost me at, “I wouldn’t use this in Grandmaster nitefall…”
✌🏻
Sunbracers was nowhere near as fun and reliable as Starfire due to having to proc it which can be annoying to at times even in raids and GMS Sometimes when you Proc it your teamates killed all the Ads anyway or there are not that many nearby or all the ads are too tanky. Also I liked how you needed to use an empowering rift for Starfire it switches up the gameplay a bit because 90% of the time rift is kinda useless.
I'm still having trouble with the snap. I've been aiming at their feet and it still makes me charge them. Is there a setting to help this?
You can rebind your powered melee (ie Incinerator Snap) to a different mouse button/key than your unpowered melee.
How do I get solar melee kill grant unlimited solar grenade energy
Are actually using touch of flame and icarus dash? Wouldn't touch of flame and heat rising be better? Because if you used heat rising with phoenix dive you get a X2 restoration buff and if you replaced ember of resolve with ember of empyrean you would get an infinite restoration X2 buff and an infinite radiance buff as long as thing keep dying which they will you would also get melee energy from heat rises. So for me heat rises is far superior than icarus dash is this build.
You can use either or. It's not like the build revolves around Icarus dash; it's just a preference.
@@ChibiOnVR is it just a preference when heat rises makes the build a lot better?

Am i the only one who didn't see chest mods used?
Idk I’m loving dawn chorus and you don’t have 2 rely on getting a melee kill
u didnt do chest mods
Good luck using this in GMs. Viable for low end content but most definitely not very good in endgame content.
