You'd want a diesel heater and not gas. Otherwise in around 3 to 4 days your gas is gonna be over ... better to run a diesel heater in these off grid campers...
Hi, in the short Dovra Rig X - 610 the bed dimensions is 197 cm x 135 cm. In the long version Dovra Rig X-730 it is 200 cm x 165 cm. Toilet is always Clesana from switzerland, which runs without water, so you dont waste your freshwatertank on a longer offgrid period. :D
Can you provide details on the touchscreen by the sliding door and integration with the Factory Head display unit? Is this a commercially available product? more details please!
Hi, the touchscreen over the sliding door is the same as in the front (Mercedes MBAX). Same interface designe and same function in both screens. So no extra screens are needed in the whole car. It is not a commercially available product. And as i know, only Dovra has it :)
I recently had a issue with my control panal on a Motorhome. This issue meant that I could not turn on the lights, water pump or use the heating and hot water. I think all expensive vans should have a Manuel control switch as well to use the basic functions as mentioned above, a van would be unusable without Mabel control as a back up.
The Dovra is running on the Mercedes MBUX system, that will never have any issues. That only stop working when the whole Sprinter is broken. If the original mercedes control panel is out of function, you could still do all of the functions over the Mercedes MBAC app. :)
I love scandi design but I was thinking that in a moving vehicle, sharp corners aren’t great. Plus they get knocked and chipped easily/don’t wear so well. Aesthetically, some rounded corners wouldn’t go amiss (even the founder”s desk has the corners rounded). Just my opinion - everyone’s different. It’s an impressive vehicle nonetheless.
Okay, yes you are right, everybody his different. But normally you should not use the living area when you are driving. So the inside of the camper shouldn’t be moving at all, when you use the kitchen or something. 😊
What would bother me about this car is this floor plan, which has been seen millions of times. Why not a roof tent and only an emergency bed inside the vehicle that can be set up quickly for example? Why not have the courage to try something new? Greetings from a solo full-time VanLifer with her DIY Sprinter.
Because this car is made for extreme weather conditions. So not a good option to sleep in a roof tent at -25 degrees. Also you loose all the space on the roof, for the Solarpanels and stuff like boxes. Greetings from Sweden!
Looks very good Johan. I am proud of our smooth cooperation.
Well done, Dovra.👏🏼 Greerting from Switzerland 🙌
❤❤❤
If a cold weather off road camper was your thing then this would be on the shortlist.

@@johanpostel326Exactly that, wasted space and weight in a small Van for gas bottles... And that for 220k... But it's plywood not paper...
@@rodbtelenetbe absolutely 💯
Bel camper! 💪
Hi ..
what dimensions does the bed have? Are there any pictures of the bathroom? Which toilet did you install?
A very nice vehicle !!

For the gas cylinder, can we fix them on the rear door? Thnks

😍😍💗💗🥰🥰
if you can run the heater on diesel as well, why have gas bottles in the first place?
Toilet is not ready to be precented or there isn’t one?
There is a Clesana Toilet and also a shower in the bathroom.
With gas? Just why, every week empty in winter
Sorry but for €214k I’d at least want some rounded edges inside.
If you want rounded edges, then you maybe don't like Scandinavian design. Than you could buy a ordinary motorhome.

Who wants a cold or too hot and noisy rooftent?
