What brand inverter are you using? I will be traveling to multiple countries and I'm not sure which one to buy. P.S. When you hold the items close to the camera, they are blurry. Thank you.

QUESTION: My first time with your channel so apologies if you’ve covered it elsewhere…. do you only air dry your hair? My waves are very similar to yours, but is very thick and takes hours to dry, so at home I often use a diffuser - and they are HUGE! Any tips for dealing with waves/curls when you’re determined to only have a carry-on? Thanks!!

@@leapintothewild hey there! So for this long term trip I only air dried….not ideal but I chose to save the space. For shorter trips however, I usually bring a microfiber hair towel and a collapsible diffuser (but not the actual hair dryer, I find that often an Airbnb will have one). Have you seen the collapsible diffusers? They’re pretty awesome!

@@McCallSears I haven’t seen a collapsible one, but heading off for a Google search. THANK YOU!! ❤️

When charging your gear, charge all your portable power banks first and then phones or those two at the same time. It happened to me a lot overseas, power outage or blown fuse in my hotel room or hostel. Your phone is the most important electronic equipment that you have, it's not your camera, laptop or tablet.

This is a great video! Love the bit about the journal as well - that is something that matters to me and it's nice to see someone else put that in a separate category. I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers!

all wool is good for temperature regulation (thats why sheep grow it) merino is a specific breed of sheep that tends to be softer because its a smoother fibre

I'm a woman and obsessed with merino wool. I love the sporty brands, Icebreaker being my favorite but anything from REI is great. Also you can find great merino from Everlane and even Eileen Fisher which is great for buying on sites like Poshmark. For men I highly recommend Wool& Prince.

Did you remember what you ate in Cambodia when you had the stomach bug? Sometimes people like to eat on the side of the road rather than in a bona fide restaurant and they are prone to get stomach problems.

What is weight and size of bag packed please. Am aiming just 1 bag 30l that s it... a challenge for summer winter. Last time ended up donating 1 whole case of winter items...just got way too cold for light puffa and trainers.also have to take a stock of asthma inhalers as way too costly to keep buying those.

Tea tree isn't crunchy! Very well established for medical uses! I'm very skeptical of crunchy medicine but I have tested tea tree oil in a lab and its great. I will caution... it can cause scarring. It is extremely potent. Also, Gingins are AMAZING for an upset stomach or motion sickness. I keep those around all the time. Both tried and true natural remedies for non-dangerous medical needs.

You can take your tea tree oil and make a athlete's foot medicine also: since you hike a lot.
