Very well explained sir....i have a question. If a patient is a chronic diabetic and having blockage then angioplasty should be preferred or not?

Whether an angioplasty should be done or not depending on the symptoms the patient is having. If a diabetic patient is having cardiac chest pain at rest suggestive of compromised blood flow tot he heart then an angiography should be done and as per need and urgency an angioplasty can be performed. If the patient is stable with discomfort only on exertion then your doctor may advise medications, angioplasty or bypass surgery depending on the nature of the disease and blockages. Hope this help!
