- Hand poured gold is a beautiful and safe way to store your wealth. For every dollar invested in precious metals and not spent on frivolous stuff from Amazon or Walmart, is a dollar invested in the your future. Will its value go up 1000% over night like crypto? NO. But it won't ever drop to zero either! Gold and Silver are tangible assets, that hold their value and hedge against inflation.
Just dropped some fresh Lithic T-shirt to the shop page. Visit www.lithicmetals.com
In this video I hand pour a 2oz gold bar. I pre-weighed the gold, melted it down, and poured it into a graphite mold. And, I make it look easy! Hand stamped. Pure gold.

“The value of gold is rising” = The value of the dollar is dropping.
I could watch gold pours all day. Just beautiful.

Beautiful man
Thanks Jamison! 😁
This is just a thought: If the COA included a _high resolution_ high-contrast photo of the bars, the pour lines created with the torch would provide a unique identifier for each bar without a serial number stamped directly on the bar, since the pour lines create a sort of fingerprint. The serial number on the COA with a higher resolution photo, perhaps on the reverse side of the COA, would then link the COA directly with the bar. Just a thought, a way to employ the unique pour lines as the unique identifier without stamping the serial number directly on the bar, preventing counterfeits of these unique art casts.
Yes, the COAs for the 2oz bars have a high resolution image of each individual bar.
@@LithicMetals Do you mean the angled thumbnail shown here or is there a second image? Ty in advance. The image shown here is smaller than the bar itself.
Jeff, its been a while man! good to see you
Glad Ya stumbled back across me! 😁
Nice bro a fellow lefty!!
😁👍
This beautiful piece must be a custom made because they don't normally sell 2 ounce bars.
I'm currently pouring 1/2oz, 1oz, 2oz, 5oz, and 10oz gold bars. 💛
I love the look of gold this way its so different to rings and such ❤ those gold plastic bags look great you couldn't post them 😅
Glad you liked the gold! Thanks for watching!! 😁
+1 sub. Well done!
Appreciate it, Scott HD! Thanks for watching!! 😁
Incredible, how did you get started into doing this ?
just curious but have you ever done anything with platinum group metals yet
My question is. Do you use a fume hood? if so, can I make one inexpensively or do you have a source
I have a couple of hoods, one over my bench and one in the fume booth. If you have the knowledge and wherewithal to do it... yes, you can make a great hood for under $200 bucks.
Love how you called it The Forbidden Yoke lmao 😂💯🇺🇲🍺 Your forgetting to mark 99.9
💛 don't worry, the .999 is right below the Lithic mark 😁
Great video! Where do I go about getting custom stamps/punches? Also I wish you would ship to the UK! Would love a bar from you
Glad you enjoyed it! I do indeed ship to the UK, it's a bit pricey... but happy to do it. The stamp guy I used is no longer in business.
👍 top stuff. Any refining videos in the pipeline?
You bet, I'll have more posted over the coming weeks 😁
What type of melting torch gun is used
Oxy-acetylene 🙂
Jeff, do you have to wear a respirator or N95 mask when you melt silver and gold?
I don't, however I work under a very powerful exhaust hood. I never breathe any of it. 🙂
Lovely.
Where do you get your gold
Most often, it's sent to me to refine and/or pour.
where do you sell your bars?
I generally sell to members of a private precious metals group I'm in. But feel free to email me at lithicmetals@gmail.com if you'd like me to pour a bar for you!
Where do you source your gold? And do you have a shop?
Yes, I have a shop... well, more of a Lab. The gold is generally sent in to be refined.
@@LithicMetals oh, I meant like an online store or something where people can buy custom gold pieces.
I think I've asked this before, but how do you get your gold and silver shot so small and uniformly sized, Jeff?
A lot of the fine grain you see is from other refineries. If I need make uniform grain for a customer I pour the shot over a stainless screen, which scatters it into tiny bits. 🙂
@@LithicMetals Oh, what a cool solution. And there's no worry about the gold adhering to the cold stainless steel?
😀😀
Why do you not just melt it directly inside of the bar graphite mold?
It would wear out the mold very fast. Plus, graphite would settle all over the surface of the bar. I wouldn't get good pour lines. It's definitely possible, but just not for the kind of piece I'm looking to create. 😁
Thanks, makes sense.
how can we buy some of your creations ?
Please feel free to email me at lithicmetals@gmail.com for details. Thanks 😁
How does one go about purchasing a bar?
Sorry, I just saw your comment. Please feel free to email me at lithicmetals@gmail.com
Is it safe to breathe in that torches fumes? 😮
No. Definitely not. I work under fume hoods, and I never breathe the fumes from the torch or the chemical reactions I produce. Thanks for watching!
He kinda sounds like garand thumb
Do you do any gold or silver refining with acids?
You bet! If you enjoy that kind of content... please check out out my other vids! 🤓🧪⚗️✨️🤍✨️😁
