Slash is so adorable!! I love Slash's voice it is so calm and soothing!! I like Slash like this you can see his beautiful face. Slash has beautiful dark eyes!! Slash is completely wonderful!! I love you Slash!!
In Slash's autobiography he says that a few songs he wrote on that album were about the situation with Axl and Guns - thiss one seems the most obvious fit to me, because the way Slash felt about Axl at the time is pretty much summed up on this one
For all the times I've listened to Snakepit, this is the first time I've seen the singer from the first album. he doesn't look like I expected, but still a great singer. I wish Snakepit had kept going. This is a truly stunning version of the song.
Awesome, simply awesome... Thanks so much for publishing this... Only one wish for something that could make it absolutely heaven-like sounding: if Eric was playing 12-string, I guess it would create even more sustain and additional harmonies for his great vocals and Slash's awesome acoustic lead.
sin duda Slash's Snakepit marco el mejor estilo Blues, el cual a Slash le gusta mucho ese estilo :D! me gustaria volver escuchar esta hermoza cancion en su nuevo album y su grupo "slash" :D!
Eric didnt get kicked outta snakepit he left to re join his other band and now hes in a band called the sextuns i agree it would be awesome if he would sing for VR! and I like the way the two snakepit albums were different, it just shows how much more awesome slash can be.
Snakepit should have kept Eric Dover. The second album didn't have the same feel without him. I think that's why this band didn't get the attention it deserved.
YEs. Eric Dover was the singer of Slash's Snakepit on their first album "It's five o clock somewhere" in 1995 And then, the band broke and they were reform with the singer called Rod Jackson and they made an album "Ain't Life Grand" in 2000.
@deathscythe3480 he lost a lot of his voice. the screaming was to hard on his voice and it broke at some point in the snakepit tour so he had to take a break.
this was originally supposed to be a GN'R song actually and on the video for the Making of Estranged video you can hear an early version of this with Axl whistling and humming a melody over it.
@@hadrov ruclips.net/video/oJDszPlV-II/видео.html from 6:06 to 8:06. You can hear Slash working out and then strumming the riff in the background and then Axl whistles over it and at the very end hums a melody line over the riff. Basically a demo version we'll probably never hear in full.
Really sucks these guys didn't do more music. that first album is damn near perfect
Eric Dover is a seriously good singer... rather underrated. His singing really compliments Slash's playing... this particular album is just excellent.
its five oclock somewhere was prime Slash. No question, i think.
What a voice, what a songs, what a BAND, jesus fn christ...
I LOVE THIS!!!!! Slash and Eric Dover on acoustics is just perfect to my ears!!!
6 years later, and the solo on this still melts your face LOL the best version of this song in my opinion. The vocals are badass
The solo on this song....God!! the best of the best
Oh yes. Just so full of emotions.
Anyone else watching this in 2021? When times are 10 times worse than they were at the time of this video?
Slash is so adorable!! I love Slash's voice it is so calm and soothing!! I like Slash like this you can see his beautiful face. Slash has beautiful dark eyes!! Slash is completely wonderful!! I love you Slash!!
Erick Dover has a really kickass voice and i like snakepit more than velvet
Slash is just so damn versatile. The snake pit was a different thing than velvet revolver. Both pretty damn great in their own right
In Slash's autobiography he says that a few songs he wrote on that album were about the situation with Axl and Guns - thiss one seems the most obvious fit to me, because the way Slash felt about Axl at the time is pretty much summed up on this one
No.
He said that this song was about a girl that he had a relationship with! 🎸👍
YES YES YES!!! Eric Dover is one of my vocal heroes! A veritable artist.
For all the times I've listened to Snakepit, this is the first time I've seen the singer from the first album. he doesn't look like I expected, but still a great singer. I wish Snakepit had kept going. This is a truly stunning version of the song.
most bands cant handle unplugged like that after years and the both of them sound even better than on the album.. just awesome :D
Awesome, simply awesome... Thanks so much for publishing this...
Only one wish for something that could make it absolutely heaven-like sounding: if Eric was playing 12-string, I guess it would create even more sustain and additional harmonies for his great vocals and Slash's awesome acoustic lead.
Once in a lifetime is music made like this wit two FUCKING SUPREME TOP GUN ARTISTS. THANK U TRULY GOSPEL
great song man need more of this style music,
sin duda Slash's Snakepit marco el mejor estilo Blues, el cual a Slash le gusta mucho ese estilo :D! me gustaria volver escuchar esta hermoza cancion en su nuevo album y su grupo "slash" :D!
This is better than patience
does anyone have the tabs to exactly this solo slash is playing?
It's fucking awesome
Great vocalist
Just love it. Wish I could have see them live on stage. And Slash is absolutely the best`!!!!!
Eric didnt get kicked outta snakepit he left to re join his other band and now hes in a band called the sextuns
i agree it would be awesome if he would sing for VR!

Temaso lo vi en obras año 95 hermosa época .me fui solito desde Rosario a Bs As. Terrible recital la única verga fue la banda soporte
Yo también los ví en Obras, qué gran banda y Eric canta formidablemente
listen to how Slash play the strings... this is exactly how GN'R used to sound... GN'R without Slash is just a name for Axl's band...
Don't forget Izzy, his songwriting and rhythm playing also made the complete sound.
they should call this guy for Velvet revolver, he Is a bad ass singer, he would give a badass edge to that band!!
Great video and great Snakepit song! Thanks for posting it :)
me enkanta esta cancion, el sonido es muy conmovedor, me pasa mucho con las canciones de slash
Brilliant ! Same chords as Paradise City, only Back and Forth again...
Hell I just ate a hellacious habanero salad! Thank you
The dessert is this performance!
Beautiful
Wicked !!!
slash is the best of the best!!
his solos are fuckin great!!
i love slash!!
Slash should have stuck to this band, the best
Temaso!!!
Eric Dover!!!
quiero todo el recitall!!!!! me emociona
AWESOME
Does anybody have tabs for this??
pensar que eric dover es cantante cristiano hoy en dia, hubiese sido enorme.
mm I guess the song "what do you want to be" is about axl, I'm sure that one is for sure.
SOMEONE PLZ TAB THE SOLO!
1:58 Everytime i hear this wonderful part i want to be the one with the salad
Meet Eric in Brimingham .. Aswesome guy
Super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You very much!!!!
6:14 Hahahahahahaha!
best since axl for slash
Love my slash!
LOL, no volume on acoustic guitars XD 1:14
Slash and Eric purposely put a caesura there
+Matteo Cenni hahaha awesome
They stop playing there, that's the song. It's on purpose.
Yeah I was thinking about that shit
@deathscythe3480 he lost a lot of his voice. the screaming was to hard on his voice and it broke at some point in the snakepit tour so he had to take a break.
@Deltarogers Yes, they still talk - but not with each other. Noone of them lost his voice ;-)
hahaha whats on Slash's shirt, I think I see him and Axl?
Slash wrote "be the ball" by himself and "I hate everybody but you" he wrote for perla I once read
Rock Of Rock...!!!
Imagine that song with Axl on vocals, there must be a demo somewhere...
this was originally supposed to be a GN'R song actually and on the video for the Making of Estranged video you can hear an early version of this with Axl whistling and humming a melody over it.
@@Bklyn93 Holy shit at what point?! I don't feel like going through the entire thing :)

Slash, My lord
nope I think you're confused with matt sorum (he also played with snakepitt and with GN'R). This ois Eric Dover.
HIGLY underrated song. Beats many G n R songs, imo.
And this guy is playing guitar with Alice Cooper??
anyone know what kind of sunglasses those are?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I read "Guild" on the headstock. Of course, I have no idea of the actual model.
FussenKuh jf30 I believe
so fuckin' great..
it is :b and nice that he can improvse that :D
I`m sure they must have thought about it...Probably the other VR members don`t like him..or maybe the guy is busy :D
I expect that too
imo eric dover owns axl when it comes to singing anytime...
and yet he was in a band with slash buddy
enjoy your salad =D
awsome - and the lyrics are so obviously written by Slash about Axl it's funny
Back & Forth....never back to Dodge City..xo
so true :D
Call Hiro Nakamura.
I wish VR would get Dover as the new singer.
erick dover
04:45
wow
I already tab it myself
It's fuckin awesome
:D
5:05
lol 6:15
Too bad Eric couldn't have been Guns and Roses singer.
@Tchubi777 do it yourself
fuck that i wish izzy would sing with VR, then again who doesn't
and yet he was in a band with slash buddy
