You omitted some important facts. Like the company was originally “Underworld Element” and had a gritty east coast Hip Hop aesthetic. Then they decided to clean up the image and dropped the “Underworld”. You didn’t even mention Andy Howell’s involvement.
I'm almost 50 years old and I just got my first element board. And if I could pick one I would get one of those He-Man Masters of the universe boards probably skeletor
First skate complete is BAM Margera vectorian black gold, full complete,in 2004, I like to skate the section decks size 8.0,8.1,and This Is My Element aka TIME decks 8.0/8.1
They are decent. It's all I buy more because of childhood memories & cuz they be on sale for $30. Now for a board that's only 30 bucks I don't give a fuck as long as it rides properly & can pop also was able to get a full element set up for my daughter for less than $50 @@dionysusroy7579
I'm curious about what information you think is wrong. I double check my facts before recording the audio for these videos to ensure accuracy. Skateboarding history is a tougher subject to research as it less documented than other sports like basketball, or baseball. I rely on old articles, interviews, and magazine information to get my facts. Yes, it's possible some wrong information slips through the cracks, but it's never intended. Again, if you could point out what is wrong, I'll be sure to pin a comment updating the information.
@@MidnightSnackSkateboarding the logo was originally just the circle tree but was identical to some lumber company. they were required to add the outer rings to avoid copyright infringement. there was also a dedicated girls clothing brand that was under Osiris shoes in 01/02-ish. I can't remember the name, it didn't last long but at that time pretty much every brand had at least some women's clothing in their line.
@@acquelle. Thanks for comment. I did not know that about the Element logo, and didn't come across that information in my research. I'll look into it and pin an updated comment with the source, if I find that information. As far as the women's clothing line, this is directly from Element's website, "Element became the first skateboard company to release a Women’s clothing division, created by Kori Schillereff, wife of founder Johnny Schillereff." I also listened to an interview with Johnny Schillereff where he talked about the process of creating the clothing line. Additionally, I confirmed this fact a third time with a third-party website. The actual timeline may be a little murky, and I don't doubt you and that Osiris had a women's clothing line around that time. But again, my sources confirmed the information in the video, and I do not ever want/intend to spread wrong information. I apperciate your comment! Thanks for watching!
@@MidnightSnackSkateboarding Boise Cascade is the company the logo is from, Element was required to add the outer ring to avoid infringement, I did graphics for them a long time ago and this is what they told me. Also check out the piece on Jenkem about Rookie Skateboards, definitely before Element's women's line. Don't believe everything a company claims on it's website
Sometimes late at night, I just binge watch your videos that I've already seen
You're the best. Thanks for the support! 😁

Underworld Element for the OGs.
Johnny Schillereff left Element back in 2021/22 and has a new company called The Heart Supply.
Remember Mike V or Even Smith or even Tom Sharr. Lots of pros came and left that place lol
